CANCELEDD (Nico Di Angelo love story)

I learn a thing or two.

As we walked to the Dining Pavilion, I got curious about something. Why did Nico start sobbing when I said a couple words that were kind?i didn't realize I stopped in my tracks,until someone said "Hey,why'd you stop?" Nico said with his eyebrows scrunched together, with the corners of his mouth were down in a slight frown. I looked into his brown eyes and said      " Well a couple of hours ago at the Arena, when I said how I didn't care about your Godly parent, but I do care about someones personality,Why did you start sobbing like you have never heard that before?" He pursed his lips and said "....Well when your dads the God of the Underworld, people don't want to be around you. I mean I can summon skeletons for crying out loud!!! Who would want to be around the Son of Hades who radiates death?But to answer your question tho...I don't have a lot of friends. Most people don't want to be around death I guess....it also doesn't help when I have such a rocky past." Nico looked down ashamed, I gave him a hug and said "Well, I'm your friend. I don't care what people say." I pulled away and put my hands on his shoulders and looked up at him in the eye and said " Like I said before I care about people's personality's...not their Godly parents." I pulled him back into a hug. He was hesitant and tensed up but then hugged back. He then said in a muffled voice since his head was in my hair, " But why are you being so nice to me?" I looked up at him and said "Well Nico you may not know this...but we have a lot more in common than you think,I can tell by that...just looking at you." I stared into his beautiful brown eyes...wait beautiful brown eyes?? I scolded myself. You just met Nico you can't be liking him!! Nico then said "Well Ellie, you sure may be a powerful demigod, but you sure have a way with words.." I giggled and said "Well guess what?" Nico looked down at me a little bit and said "Hmm?" I smirked my signature smirk, my stormy green eyes glistening mischievously and said "Race you to the Pavilion!!" I didn't wait for an answer and bolted, calling water to me. I felt a tug in my gut, I looked back to see Nico running but in slow motion. I then realized that water was at his feet,slowing him down. I laughed and said "C,mon Di Angelo!!! I'm not that fast!!!"Which I really wasn't.       He glared at me playfully,still running and said "Well it's kinda hard when waters at my feet...SLOOOWINGGG ME DOWN!!! I couldn't help it right then and there I started laughing so hard,hands clutching my stomach, laughing. Nico caught up to me and said "Well guess who's getting payback??" I could basically hear the smirk in his voice, but I didn't care. Just when I was about to get up, strong hands were on my waist putting me on their shoulders. Nico!! "NICO PUT ME DOWN!!!" I screeched. He started running to Gods know where, and said "Nope!! I said I was getting payback!!" A thought then struck me, I'm a daughter of Poseidon...I don't think a son of Hades would like to get wet. I felt a tug in my gut, I was then engulfed into a coolness feeling around me. I was in a water bubble with a boy so happy, Nico. I had the water surround Nico, I put a little air bubble only around his head. He looked at me and said "REALLY ELLIE!!" I crossed my arms across my chest and said "Wellll you shouldn't have threw me over your back!" He glared at me. I glared right back, eventually I won and said "I'll let you out when I'm ahead a little bit then I won't use any powers.Deal?" Nico nodded grimly. I decided I would count to 7. I started running while counting to 7. I yelled back to Nico " 6,7!!" The water around him went back to wherever it came from. He stood and started running as fast as his legs would take him.
Nico's POV
Man was Ellie mischievous!!!I started running as fast as my legs would take me. I was almost to her when the Dining Pavilion came into view. New adrenaline surged thru me. When I was in arms length of Ellie I grabbed her around the waist and threw her over my shoulder. She let out a gasp of surprise. I chuckled and kept running up to the Pavilion. I was finally greeted by a smirking Percy. Ellie then said "Okayyy were at the Dining Pavilion..NOW LET ME DOWN!!" She started squirming on my shoulder trying get down. I chuckled and said to Percy " You have quite the sister. " I said as setting Ellie down. Percy was about to say something but then Ellie chirped in and said "Why thank you Nico" Percy then started laughing. Once Percy was done having his fit of laughter he said "I know.. I woke up with my own drool on my eyes" Ellie blushed and said "You looked so peaceful, it was hard not to." I laughed and thought that when she was the cutest. Wait cutest? I snapped out of those thoughts and said "Well she found me in the Arena and we started talking." Ellie looked at her brother and nodded at him,meaning that it was true. Percy said to Ellie then "Well at least it was Nico. Anyway, you have your first sword lesson today by then he best swordsman in the Camp!!" She looked at me, then back at Percy. She put one arm on the Poseidon table,smirked, and said "Oh really, who's that??" I started laughing at that. I gasped for air and said "Yeah Percy..who's that?" He glared at me and said, while eating his blue pancakes, of course, " Me dummy!!!"     Me and Ellie started laughing on the one side of the table. I then said "Well you guys are definitely siblings, that only thing that's different is that Ellie's eyes are a tiny shade darker than yours, and Ellie also has a splash of freckles on her nose. And you,Percy, are the best swordsman. Well technically all children of the Big three are good swordsmen but, Percy's the best swordsmen out of the whole Camp!!" Ellie nodded and looked at her brother, a determined glint in her eyes and said "Well see about who's the best swordsman after today's training!" Me and Percy looked at her astonished,she has that much determination huh?       I then bent down by her ear and whispered "I'll be there with you watching, but still good luck" she looked up at me and gently smiled, her stormy green eyes twinkling and said "Thanks Nico, see you after breakfast at the Arena." I nodded at Percy and said bye to Ellie and went to the Hades Table.
