Ellie's POV~
It had been 2 weeks at Camp Half-Blood. Everything was great!!! I spent most of my time with Percy,Nico,Annabeth,and Ally tho. I got flirted with a lot, it was mostly by Nico who did not look so happy about it when it happened. Nico and I trained a lot, I won a lot of Capture the flag games, with Annabeth. Me and Percy also got to know each other more. I pulled Pranks on a lot of people. All of it was fun. But the one thing that really did shake me up,was when some stupid boy would come up to me and flirt, or ask me out. I always said no because I liked Nico. The more I spent time with him, the more I ended up falling in love with him..I know cliché. But now me and Nico were going to the Lake before sword practice. As we got to the Lake, I decided I wanted to mess with Nico who was only wearing, black swimming trunks with skeletons, and a t-shirt with converse. I looked down to see what I was wearing, since I just grabbed a swimsuit and left Cabin 3. It was a baby blue halter top with black high waisted bottoms. I looked at Nico and said "Hey Nico want to play Truth or Dare?" He smirked and said "Your on Nemo, but I gotta say, I'm pretty good at giving nasty dares." I smirked and said "Ok I'll do it to you first, so Truth or dare?" He smiled at me and said "Dare obviously" I thought for a moment. What should I do to him? I looked at the water from where we were sitting in the sand. I decided. I smirked at Nico. I said "I dare you to go to the dock, and get into the water.." Nico's smirk wavered. Now this dare might not seem that bad but Nico does NOT like water. He mumbled "Fine.." I knew I would have to go with him so he would actually go in the water. Once we got to the dock I said "C,mon Skeleton head. It's your dare." He glared at me. He took off his shirt and I turned crimson. He had a beautiful 6 pack,It also helped that he was slightly tan. I didn't realize I had my mouth slightly open, until Nico smirked and said "Close your mouth, or flys will get in it."
I gave him my best death glare and said "Just do your dare." He looked at the water, and then apparently was happy about it, because he said "Ok!!" I didn't realize what was happening until Nico grabbed me by the waist and jumped in the water. Now being the Daughter of Poseidon, I wouldn't have cared. BUT IT WASN'T MY DARE. Plus I didn't know, so my clothes are now wet. That part I didn't really care, since I could use my powers and just dry myself off.
Nico's POV
As I grabbed Ellie and jumped into the water, I could make out her figure. Her long, wavy brown hair formed a halo around her head. Gods Why was she so beautiful!! Her eyes were as stormy as always. She made a air bubble around us and I couldn't help laughing. Right after she gave a flick of her hand and dried herself off, she looked up at me and said "THAT WASN'T MY DARE SKELETON HEAD!!" I laughed and said "What?You said do the dare, but I brought you with me!!" She glared at me and said "Well whatever let's get back up and get ready for training." She willed the water to wash us ashore. Barely concentrating,just rising her hand up slowly,while her other hand twirled a piece of her hair around her finger. Once we got ashore, we packed up our things and left to get ready for training.
Ellie's POV
As I got to Cabin 3, I took a shower, and put on a maroon t-shirt, some blue denim shorts, and blue converse, and threw my hair up into a loose pony.I walked out of the bathroom and walked to the front door. I walked out to see a Nico playing with his hair on the Porch Railing. As soon as he saw me he immediately stopped and pointed his finger at me and said "You saw nothing." I smirked at him and crossed my arms and said "If you can beat me to the Arena...then I saw nothing." I raced passed him, heading to the Arena. He yelped when he realized I already was running. I could tell he was closely catching up behind me and I was only by the Strawberry Fields. So close to the Arena yet so far! As I was just finally reaching the end of the Strawberry fields, I felt strong hands grab my waist and hoist me up over there shoulders. Nico!! I yelped and started pounding my fists against his back, and said "NICO LETT MEE GOO!!" He chuckled and started walking with a bounce in his step, he then said "Nope!! Anyway we're just now entering the doorway of the Arena!!" I looked up a little and turned my head to the side and said "Oh. I guess we are..so that means you can let me down now!!" He walked right to the middle and said "Now, I can let you go." He grabbed my waist and set me on the ground. I looked at him and said "Thank you. Now should we start our Training?" Nico never won. Since I'm the best swordsman to ever live, but he said it made him better. Which I guess kinda makes since but..whatever. I enjoyed spending time with Nico. I grabbed the longer sword charm and gave it a little tug. In 1 second I held a 4 foot, 8 inch, Celestial Bronze sword. Nico sheathed his Stygian Iron sword and got in his battle stance, as did I. I said "Ready?....Set....GO!!" We battled one on one. Celestial Bronze against Stygian Iron. Our swords clanged together in a shower of sparks.
Nico's POV
Ellie swiped Left and right with inhumanly speed. She dodged a strike to the leg, she feinted a strike to my shoulder, but I didn't realize until her sword actually hit my calf and I was on the ground with a sword at my neck.
She smirked at me with her dazzling Stormy Green eyes, and said "Gotcha...2 out of 3?" I nodded, and got up and picked my sword up. I walked to the middle where Ellie was standing. Gods she looked beautiful! She got in her stance and I looked into her eyes to see that she was ready whenever I was. I tried to stab at her waist, she easily side stepped. She whipped that flat of her blade at my chest. Does she know how much that hurts? oUCH! I was about to swing my sword at her head, when she easily rolled thru my legs and swung her sword at me ankles making me trip. The next thing I know I'm on the ground, with a dagger at my throat and a smirking Ellie. She said "Whoops, guess I won both of those rounds!" I stared at her. Her Stormy green eyes, had a glint of amusement. She was straddling my hips with her legs. I lifted myself up a little so I was on my elbows. I decided to ask her a question, but I knew she probably wouldn't answer, but it was worth a shot. I looked at her and said "Can I ask you a question, Ellie?" She tilted her head a little and said "Sure..shoot away" I smiled at her and flipped us, so I was on top of her. I smirked at her and said "Who do you like?" She turned crimson. She suddenly flipped us...again! She straddled my hips, I again lifted myself up again so I was resting on my elbows. She faked thought for a minute and said " He has black hair, my age, just a couple of months older, and he probably doesn't like me back.." I thought who has black hair and is our age. Then it hit me. She likes me!! My crush likes me!! I smiled at her and said "Oh yeah? Your sure your crush doesn't like you" she moved and was sitting on the ground with her legs slightly bent. I hovered over her, and smirked, I said "Tell me his name Nemo." She gulped and said "I-I can't do that." She backed up, I followed. I smirked and asked her "Why not Nemo?" She stuttered out "B-Because it w-would be suicide.." I fake thought for a minute and said "Hmm, is it...Me?" She turned redder than before. She looked down and mumbled "You don't like me anyway." I put my index finger under her chin and made her look up me and said "Why do you say that." She just shook her head. She looked up at me and said "Look it's alright if you d-mpH!" She didn't get to finish because I smashed my lips to hers. Her plump lips were soft. She melted into it. I brought her closer to me by her waist. She started playing with the nape of my hair, earning a moan from me. She giggled against my lips. We broke the kiss when both of us couldn't breath and rested our foreheads against each others . I laughed and said "Can I ask you a real question?" She looked up at me and said "Shoot your shot." I tucked a stray piece of hair behind her ear and said "Ellie Buza...Daughter of Poseidon. Will you be my girlfriend?" She smiled and said "Of course Skeleton head!" I stood up and offered her my hand she took it, I looked down at her and said "So? Shall we go to lunch now?" She smiled and pecked my cheek and said "Sure!" I pouted and said "You missed!" She laughed, and grabbed the collar of my shirt and brought me down to her level and kissed me.
We walked hand in hand to the Dining Pavilion. When we got to the Pavilion, Percy was the first one to see us. He smiled and waved us over.
