We all loved BoRhap, and if you didn't, leave
But since I'm out of ideas, and I really dont feel like writing fan fiction right now, I wanted to be a smarty pants and show off my knowledge for Queen. So yaaaaay

Let's start with some Fun Facts!

1: You know that one guy on My Strange Addiction who had a relationship with his car? That was Roger in disguise
2: Freddie's favorite cat was Delilah, a black, white, and brown beauty. Freddie stroked Delilah's fur on his death bed 😢
3: Brian's favorite animal is a badger, don't know why but ok
4: The song "I Want It All" was inspired by Brian's wife when she said "I want it all and I want it now!" In an argument with him.
5: Freddie accidentally invented the standless microphone when he frickin broke the microphone stand nice going 😂
6: Without Micheal Jackson, we wouldn't have Another One Bites the Dust. He convinced the boys to release it.
7: Paul Prenter was a real person, who, surprise, was not a fruit fly! 😀

Well, sort of.

It wasn't Paul that led him into the p a r t i e s, and he didn't introduce him to drugs either. Although, Paul kind of foreshadowed (without knowing) that Freddie had AIDS, and exposed his love life and how he had many partners, two dying from AIDS. So Paul was still a snake.
Freddie actually got into drugs with DJ Kenny Everett (the one who played Bohemian Rhapsody on the radio in the movie)
8: The videos for 'We Will Rock You' and 'Spread Your Wings' were both shot in Roger's backyard.
9: According to the Guinness Book Of Records, the Official International Queen Fan Club is the longest running rock group fan club in the world. (We Queenies are DOIN THINGS)
10: Some of the animated footage in their video for 'A Kind Of Magic' was created by animators for the Walt Disney Company. (YES OMG THE BOYS AS FRICKIN DISNEY CHARACTERS)
11: Freddie loved his cats so much that he would phone call home to TALK TO THEM. That's a good dad 😁
12: Freddie required his assistants to have a pen and paper with them at all times in case he was inspired and needed to jot down some ideas. Creative bean 🌟
13: Instead of using a plectrum to play his guitar, Brian May uses a sixpence coin. I think it may be a good luck charm cause he's Bri 😁

Now, let's see what Bohemian Rhapsody got wrong, just for fun.

1: It took much longer in real life for Freddie to join Queen. He also did not meet Smile at one of their concerts, and he didn't meet Mary that way either. Freddie met Tim Staffell, singer and bassist of Smile in college, and when Tim introduced Freddie to Bryan, Bryan introduced Freddie to Mary.
2: Jim Hutton was never a servant for Freddie. Jim was a hairdresser at the Savoy Hotel, and the two met at a club. They were lovers up until Freddie's death on November 24th, 1991.
3: Freddie nor Queen knew that he had AIDS until 1987, 2 years after Live Aid. It was rearranged for dramatic purposes. The movie wouldn't be as good if it wasn't rearranged in my opinion.
4: Queen's Live Aid performance wasn't a "reunion". Again, it wouldn't be as good if things weren't rearranged for dramatic purposes.
5: Ray Foster never existed. Ray Foster...who? The character of Ray Foster didn't exist, but was very lightly based off of EMI Chief Roy Featherstone, who loved Queen and their music, but he did say that Bohemian Rhapsody was not going to be played on the radio due to the fact it was almost 6 minutes.
6: Freddie going solo was not a big deal. In fact, Freddie wasn't even the only one to go solo. Roger went solo, making hits such as Let's Get Crazy,
Laugh or Cry, Fun in Space, and My Country.

So there's some footage of me being a smarty pants, I hope this helped you learned a bit more about Queen from this! 💛
