i look down at the yellow packet holding the divorce papers. loving harry is something i'd never regret - no in a million years. it was just time for us to separate.

he had obviously moved on - found someone he wanted more than me. it hurt - it still hurts, but if i wasn't the one that harry wanted, then so be it. it wouldn't matter if i loved him, he could still go off with the woman he was truly infatuated with.

the papers that are held within this packet was the ticket to harry's happiness,  and i was going to give it to him. i was going to try and get a divorce.

knocking on my old apartment door, i look around, taking in the old surroundings. had it really been 3 months since i'd been here?

the door swings open, revealing a shirtless harry in baggy, navy blue sweat pants drooping at his waist. i tried my hardest to not drool all over the carpeted hallway.

a cigarette is hung in between his teeth, making me slightly cringe. i feel bad for our - harry's apartment, it would forever smell like tobacco.

"hello, mrs. styles," he smiles sarcastically.

i cringe, showing it on my face. "hi, harry. have you signed the papers, yet?"

he shakes his head, a smirk forming on his lips. "i'm not ready to let you go away that easily, sweetheart."

   "really, now?" i scoff.

"indeed. don't you want to go back to the way we were, babe?"

"of course not," i lie. "if you hadn't been such an asshole that night, you probably would've cheated later on."

"what about you? would you have done what you did, effie, would you have done what you did later on?" he raises his voice.

i hadn't even moved from the hallway, and he hadn't moved from the doorway.

"i wouldn't have needed to do what i did if you didn't practically leave me for five months!" i yell at him, feeling my eyes bulge slightly. "we would've had more times of happiness, but guess what? it didn't happen, so just sign the papers, and you won't have to worry anymore!"

harry's about to speak until a feminine voice speaks before he can. "harry, are you coming back to bed?"

harry's eyes widen, obviously now realizing he forgot that he had company over.

scoffing, i say, "call me when you finally decide to sign those papers, yeah?" i throw that yellow packet at him; another copy that i had gotten just in case he had thrown the others away, which he did.
