Sora turned around to see who it was. It was Vanitas. "What do you want this time?" Sora rolled his eyes.

"Hey! I'm trying to be nice here!" Vanitas yelled. "I.. can I copy your homework from yesterday? The science homework?" Vanitas asked.

"Hmm.. no." Sora laughed. Vanitas, with a mad expression on his face, breathed in and out repeatedly. "Hm.. you're much better than you were before. You can handle your anger issues more than you could before." Sora smiled, as he searched through his backpack.

Sora handed Vanitas his homework. "Here.. give it back to me before science class starts. And also.. you're welcome." Sora said. It took a few seconds for Vanitas to reply. He stood there, confused.

"I... Thanks, Sora." Vanitas slowly spoke. "Yeah, it's nothing." Sora replied, and walked away. "Sora..." Vanitas lowered his head down.  Sora looked back, confused. "I'm really sorry, Sora. For how I treated you before. I know you'll never forget me for what I did, but I.. at least want you to know I'm not the same person from before. I've changed and I'm not the same.." Vanitas said slowly.

Vanitas looked up at Sora. He was smiling. He patted his head. "It's fine, Vanitas. I know you're sorry. Besides, the past is the past." Sora laughed as he tried comforting Vanitas. Sora embraced him in a hug.

Vanitas trembled and sobbed as he hugged Sora tightly.

"Sora?" Someone called out from behind. He turned around and saw Kairi. Kairi walked up to Sora, not noticing Vanitas.

"Hey, Vanitas.." Sora whispered into his ear. Vanitas slowly looked up at Sora. Then, he saw Kairi behind him. He jumped in embarrassment and wiped his tears. "S-Sora.. thanks again." Vanitas stuttered, then walked away from them.

"What was that..? I thought you hated Vanitas." Kairi asked. "I used to.. but after seeing him cry, I feel really bad." Sora sighed. "Why was he crying?" Kairi asked. "I'd rather not talk about it." Sora frowned.

"I was about to go see Riku. Wanna come?" Sora smiled. "Ah.. that's why I was looking for you. I wanna show you something that Riku drew!" Kairi giggled, as she grabbed Sora's hand.

She lead the way to the roof. When they arrived, Riku looked up. "Hey Riku!" Sora yelled and laughed, while waving and jumping. Riku waved and smiled back. Then, both of them sat besides Riku.

"Can you show Sora what you drew?" Kairi's eyes shined with excitement. "Oh..uh yeah." Riku answered and handed Sora the journal. "Woah! That's really awesome, Riku!!" Sora said with an excited expression on his face.

"Why's it a little wet, though?" Sora asked. "O-Oh! That's because.. I.. I sneezed on it." Riku lied. "Ew.. Riku!!" Sora laughed, while patting Riku's shoulder."Riku, can you draw me sometime? I really like how you draw!! It's really beautiful!" Kairi exclaimed.

"Ah.. yeah! Just tell me whenever." Riku smiled.

Ringggg!

The bell rang and the trio parted ways.
