Jungkook and Taehyung sat in the cozy corner table in the oh-so-familiar place that was Jin's restaurant. It's been some time since they visited their hyung, so they thought now was a better time than ever. And, of course, Jin loved it when Taehyung visited.
As for Jungkook?
Well...
"HYUUUUUUNG! I'M HEEEEEEERE!"
"YA! QUIT BEING SO LOUD!"
"SORRY, I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE BETTER TO YELL SINCE YOUR HEARING IS GETTING WORSE, OLD MAN!"
"OH, YOU LITTLE—JUST WAIT UNTIL I GET OUT THERE AND BEAT YOUR—Oh! Taehyung's here too?"
Their argument took a pause when Jin saw the face he missed for the past few months. Taehyung smiled sheepishly when Jin ran over to him and squished his soft, flushed cheeks.
"Hello, Taehyungie! Hyung's missed you!"
Jungkook growled at his hyung, wanting his cheeks to be squished too.
"Why don't you do that to me?!"
"If you want cheek squishes, then calling me "old man" probably isn't the best start!"
Taehyung couldn't help but chuckle at their odd, yet close relationship. It relaxed him quite a bit, which was something he was in desperate need of.
He took a scan throughout the restaurant.
Yep, exactly how they left it.
It even smelled the same: fresh, homemade ramen.
And of course, Jin looked as handsome as ever.
"This boy....I don't know how you live with him, Tae. He must stress you out so much. He's only been in here for like three minuets and I'm already ready to kick him out..."
"Hey! You know you love me, hyung..."
"Whatever. I'm guessing you want the usual?"
"You bet! Make it two!"
"I swear, I'm getting grey hair 'cause of you..."
"Are you sure it's not because you're getting old?"
"Zip it."
Jin kept his eyes on Jungkook like a hawk until he vanished into the kitchen to make Jungkook's "usual." The younger snickered mischievously, always in the mood to tease his hyung when he had the chance. Taehyung payed no mind to the rambunctious pair, too distracted by the fancy artwork that was displayed throughout the restaurant.
"You like art, huh?" Jungkook came up behind Taehyung, staring up at the painting that the other has been staring at the whole time.
"Huh? Oh—yeah, I do. Hyung must have a good eye for art."
"It wasn't Jin hyung who picked this out. It was Namjoon..."
"Nam. Joon?"
"Oh! You don't know yet, do you? Namjoon is Jin's boyfriend. They've been dating for quite some time now. I'm sure you'll meet him soon."
"Oh...He has good style."
"This was an anniversary gift from him to Jin. Now, hyung has it here and never took it down since he hung it for the first time..."
Taehyung cooed at the sentimental story, now looking at the painting in a new perspective. Not only is it a beautiful painting, but it's a gift of love from someone to another. It adds more meaning than it did before, which only made it more captivating to look at.
"They must really be in love..." Taehyung thought out loud, his eyes still fixated on the picture.
"Yeah..."
Jungkook snuck his hand into Taehyung's, their hands now folding together perfectly like a puzzle piece. They looked at each other with small smiles. Smiles that told the same thing without making a sound.
"So are we..."
Nothing needed to be said in this moment. A quiet, cozy atmosphere that seemed to suck them into oblivion, only being able to feel the other's presence.
Their peaceful silence was interrupted by the smell of ramen that they could never get tired of. Jin arrived with two bowls, placing one in Taehyung's spot, and the other in Jungkook's. As Jungkook was about to take a seat, Jin held his shoulder, preventing him to do so.
"Jungkook...can I talk to you?"
"Sure. What's up?"
"In private?"
Taehyung looked up from his ramen that he was currently stuffing into his mouth. He couldn't help but be intrigued by the mysterious message that Jin needed to say. But, he couldn't hear it, because the two left him to speak privately in the kitchen. Jungkook kissed Taehyung's head as a sign of apology before following Jin away.
There, Taehyung sat. All alone. He didn't think much about it, though. The nagging smell of delicious ramen distracted him into resuming to eat.
But in the back of his mind he still wondered...
"What are they saying? And why can't I know?"

Jin made sure they were in a quiet place before he spoke. Jungkook was quite confused, concerned even. Just some minutes ago, Jin was his usual self. But now, that's gone out the window.
What does Jin have to say to Jungkook that's making him act this way?
"You probably don't want to hear this, but..." Jin started, getting quieter as he spoke.
"What? What is it?"
Jin sighed heavily, stepping closer to Jungkook and placing his hands on the younger's shoulders.
"Jungkook...
Do you still keep in touch with Yoongi?"
