I figured I'd warn you, (Y/n) SNAPS at the end of this chapter, and it gets kinda violent.

Quietly snickering after having successfully outrun the cop that was chasing you and Klaus - which had admittedly taken a while, the guy had been persistent - you slid open the van door and climbed in, just as Five was going off on Delores.

"You don't have to tell me that, I know there are only six days left." You slowly closed it again. "Yeah, you got a better idea?" he asked, turning to face the mannequin. He caught sight of you slinking in his peripheral. "Nice of you to show up," he snapped at you.

"Oh please, you were excluding me and I got offended. Besides, maybe I just wanted to hang out with Klaus."

He rolled his eyes, almost dejectedly. "There's our guy," he said as the same curly-haired doctor from that morning came waltzing out of the building. He stopped outside and waited until a car pulled up to the curb. The doctor lugged his briefcase into the back seat of the car, to which Five rhetorically asked, "What the hell is he up to?"

Biggs stood up, stowing a yellow package in his coat while the car drove away with the briefcase he'd placed in there. Without warning, he warped, and the shoulder you were leaning on disappeared from beneath you, causing your body to fall unceremoniously onto the driver's seat. "Damn," you quietly hissed, rubbing your rib that had hit the armrest. You sighed, I should probably just go. After having been in the van for barely two minutes, you clambered back out, wondering why you had bothered entering it in the first place.

When you opened the door of the academy, you smiled slightly at the warm interior and the fresh smell of wood polish. You could hear the others milling around the building. Locking the door behind you, you smiled as Dzie sauntered up to you.

"Hi, Baby," you cooed at the ferret, kneeling down to pet him. He chirped up at you and jammed his head into your palm. A few seconds went by with him hell-bent on receiving the adoration and affection that he'd been missing out on lately with the arrival of your estranged allies. When you had begun scratching his neck, he leapt back, hissing at the large front door behind you. Aggravated by some unseen force, his fur was fluffed out and his teeth were bared at the engraved wooden surface.

You turned your head sharply as you heard the doorknob rattling.

"Dzie, go," you whispered. The skinny creature sped away, jumping up the stairs.

The door fell silent. Cautiously, you slowly stood up and moved behind a nearby column. The lock of the door shot out of the door and clattered to the floor, skittering across the hall. Holy - ! Your thought was cut short as the wooden door creakily swung open and two figures walked into the room. You quickly realized you'd seen those two figures before, only masked. Damn it!

You watched silently as the big male trudged past you, entering the vast living room. "Cha-Cha," he said. His partner - probably Cha-Cha - entered with him.

"That's the little bastard," she said. Looking past them, you saw the two of them observing the large - almost obnoxiously so - painting of Five that had been put up after he left.

Your heart was pounding in your chest at the memory of your previous run-in with the two hitmen. I need that gun, you thought, recalling the firearm you had stolen from the shooting at the donut shop. At that same moment, you realized you couldn't get it, as it meant you'd need to move - something you knew the two masked intruders would sense immediately. You bit your bottom lip harshly to suppress the exasperated groan that was fighting it's way up your throat. At this rate, you would have to use your crystals.
