Chapter 4

The alarm beeps as I slowly bring myself to reality of my room. I slowly reach for the alarm and turn it off.

Jazz: 'It's been a couple of months I wonder what might be going on in the outside world.' I looked out my window. An image flashed in my head, Beacon was destroyed everything was in ruins from the kingdom to the city below. Grimm ran rampant through the streets over buildings and this time no one was here to fight them off. I shook my head from the thought and got ready for today. 

The Sun was shinning, birds were singing, the flowers are blooming, it was a great day to be alive or so I thought before I remembered that Port gave us. I let out a sight and put it on my bed. It was Saturday, I could work on the Essay oorrrrr.... I looked out the window. 

Jazz: "Oh yeah." I smirk and run full sprint towards the window. I jump out as I look out to Vale and reach out trying to touch it. With my body slowly speeding up towards the floor I activate dash to give be a boost to bounce off a branch under me. "Wait when did this get here?" Then I realize I threw myself into the wall. I hit the wall as my aura absorbs the impact, doesn't mean it doesn't hurt. I fall and land on a bench next to Blake.

She jumps and looks straight at me slowly with cat like eyes. It starts to look she wants to rip me apart. 

Jazz: "Hello Blake I'm Ruby and Yang's Brother nice to meet you." I put my hand out so she can shake it. She stares at me and slowly reaches out.

Blake: "Nice to meet you." A slight stutter comes out as she was still surprised by the sudden entrance.

Jazz: "Any who I gotta go, time is a very valuable thing." I said as I run around the building.

Looking at the Beacon tower I smile, it gives me a constant reminder that I made it and I need to keep going no matter what. So after heading back to my room I start to work on the Essay.

<<Three Hours Later>>

I take a deep breath and look through my essay, five pages long on hunting Grimm, fighting Grimm, defending yourself from Grimm, and knowing when it is best to run. With that all done and out of the way it was time to grab something to eat. I stand up and walk to the kitchen, grabbing my (F/F) from the fridge. Before I take a bite a knock comes from the door. I walk over and open it after setting my food on the plate.

Jazz: "Hello." I open the door.

Ruby stands on the other side of the door frame and smiles.

Ruby: "Hey big bro can you help me with something?" She asks with her hands behind her back as she sways side to side.

Jazz: "Sure whats up?"

She smiles with a questionable stop to her sway.

Jazz: 'Why do I feel like I'm about to regret this.' I wait patiently for Ruby to talk.

Ruby: "Could you help me with Weiss?" She asked as she looked away nervously.

Jazz: "Really that'll be easy sis." I smirk as I exit my room.

She leads me back to her room as she opens the door. Weiss is tangled between wires as she tries to get out. I look at Weiss entangled with wires as Yang tries not to laugh. I untie her and help her up.

Jazz: "Looks like my job is done." I look back at Ruby as she tries not to laugh. Weiss carries a huge red blush on her face as she looks away. I walk out and look towards the ceiling.
