Chapter 5

With Grimm wondering around I keep a blank emotion to conceal myself. Grimm hate happiness and are even more attracted to hate. So a blank emotion will help.

Jazz: 'Just a little further.' I thought as a herd of Ursa pased.

An area with no trees lied ahead.

Jazz: "Jazz to Beacon command. Ready for extraction."

BC: "Roger the bullhead is on its way!" She said excitedly.

Jazz: "Are you a different person or am I hearing stuff?"

BC: "I'm a different one Paul was going to the bathroom."

Jazz: "ah well thank you for not leaving me here for dead." I chuckled

BC: "No problem!"

The bullhead comes in as I hop on and fly to Beacon.

I land at the pads and walk over to Ozpin's office. I walk I to the elevator and activate it. The doors open as I look at him.

Jazz: "Good morning Oz. Good morning General." I wave as Oz smiles taking a drink from his coffee.

Ozpin: "So how did it feel clearing out all those areas of Grimm?" He asked already knowing I hated it.

Jazz: "I must say I'm getting a bigger gun for next time." I say jokingly.

Ozpin takes another sip as his cheerful face turns to a serious one. He sets his cup down and interlocks his fingers in front of his face.

Ozpin: "What did you find while looking throughout the forest?" Ozpin asked

Jazz: "The Grimm aren't getting any weaker, their getting stronger. I noticed that a deathstalker was capable of destroying a cliff side. Unlike before." I explained as he knew something was already happening that was out of his control.

Silence filled the room as the gears rotated above us.

Ironwood: "How's stopping time?" He asks as I shrug.

Jazz: "We'll it's time consuming and pretty nice but it's not for that long. I've never had to stop time for more than Eight secounds." I smile as I scratch the back of my head as he rubs his chin.

Ironwood: "Would you mind if my specialists run some tests on you?" He asked as he inspected me.

Jazz: "Yes I would mind. I don't like being studied or pricked by anything."

Ironwood: "I see but I'd love to see you fight our Experimental Q.B.S.U." he states as I stop time to think. The I resume.

Jazz: "Let me guess your quick biscuit soldier Unit?" I joke as Oz tries not to choke on his coffee.

Ironwood: "No our Quantum Break Soldier Unit." He said with confidence.

Jazz: "Of course you'd make a type of branch to kill me." I shock my head.

Ironwood: "Neutralize not kill." He said

Jazz: "Potato potato."

Ozpin: "Gentlemen please calm down." We set back a bit as anger falls from our conversation.

The room was silent as the gears rotated around us.

Jazz: "Its been nice talking to you both but I have my favorite class in bit."

Ozpin: Nods after taking a sip of his coffee. "Goodbye Mr. Xiao Long."

Jazz: "so long oz and tin man." I leave Oz's office and ride down the elevator while elevator music ran through the enclosed area.

When the elevator hit the the lobby I walk out into the court yard. Ruby takles me to the floor as I wasn't paying attention.

Jazz: "Hey Rubes how are ya?" I ask smiling as I hug her.

Ruby: "We fought a giant robot!" She says excitedly.

Jazz: "W-what..." I question her as she drags me away.

Ruby: "I'll tell you as we go to Vale."

Timeskip

We walked through the streets of Vale sun up high and 90° F

Jazz: "So Ozpin gave you a more exciting mission?!" I ask

Weiss: "No we did ourselves." She says as she gives off a hmpf and prideful attitude as she walks

Jazz: "So I really have missed a lot of things." I sigh pulling out a cookie from my pocket.

Ruby: "Ah!" She dashes at me as time stops. I freeze her and keep walking.

Jazz: "When will you learn my semblance counters yours." I smile as she unfreezes and falls onto the floor.

Ruby gets back up and jumps for the cookie as I shove it all in my mouth.

Ruby: "Traitor!"

I laugh as she gets up and chases us through the city. We come across a Fuanus running from security. I freeze time as he runs around a corner and up a building. I arrive at the top as he jumps up and sees me.

Jazz: "Good day." I greet as he look to the street then me. "Would you kindly like to return the banana?"

???: "how'd you know I had two!?"

Jazz: "magic." I say preforming jazz hands.

???: "whatever let's get this over with." He draws his nunchucks.

He starts to attack as I dodge all his attacks. I see a bullet fly by my head.

Jazz: "nice touch."

He starts to rush attack quickly swing and firing at me. I throw up a time shield and look at him as he stops.

???: "What?"

Jazz: "Y'know we could be friends, you don't always have to fight." I suggest as I see him smile ear to ear.

Sun: "All right then! My names Sun Wokong." He outstretched his arm for me to shake.

Jazz: "Jazz Xiao Long." I said shaking his hand.

Sun: "Well I got to go see you later Jazz." He smiles and waves jumping off the roof.

I head back to Beacon with a smile.

I was about to knock on the door of team RWBY as I heard arguing. Weiss was arguing about fuanus' being bad. Blake said that only some were bad. Then Blake said something that made the room stop. I heard rushing to the door as I jumped away and hid next to my door as Blake stormed out. I looked at her as she ran down the stairs and out of Beacon.

Jazz: "Hm..." I was about to follow her as I stopped myself. "I'll let sun do it."
