Entangled Unwillingly

Chapter Two

We reached Anna's school, "bye panda, take care of yourself and no talking to weres, alright?" "They dont eat humans bubba, i am not scared of them" she said. You see she is just six years old and yet she is very smart. Yet i would prefer she be really away from those brutes. "yup i know that, but just dont play with them they are very strong and can hurt you" she nodded and kissed me goodbye and went towards the school.

    So this is me Ezra Abner with a very adorable sister and a loving grandma. My mom and dad had problems. So she left dad when i was young and dad being a single parent took good care of us, Anna was two when she left so it was mostly grandma and me who took care of her. I know she loves us, we do meet at occasions. 

  Everything went downhill for us when Anna was three years old, it was the start of the events where werewolf's were spotted and being experimented upon. People were naturally scared of them since they were different. Werewolves were being hunted and killed. 

 The Alpha tried to make peace but the president was not very understanding and accepting in the matter. A gruesome murder of Hannah Adams a mate to the beta was what triggered the War. The human army was powerless in front of the pack warriors, As their presumption that they wont have any advanced weapons to stand against the army was what occurred the demise to human rule. 

Werewolves had advanced weapons, electric weapons, pistols, various missile's, cannons, machine guns and their favorite was electric swords. The warrior was as powerful as seven of the army men. Basically we underestimated them.

 The war was seventeen days long, our army fought hard but they were no match to them. The president made an announcement to the public to volunteer in the war. The major news channels were steering hate and fear against the were's. We all were instilled with deep fear and dad decided to volunteer in the honor of country with my  friends dad they were eventually in the same military unit, it was very scary initially to us as he was our only parent, but granny was very positive it was for the betterment of the humanity and that he would return in no time.

 After three weeks as dad  was gone we got the dreadful call they said the division in which my dad was located was attacked by the missile's and they are yet to find dads body. I couldn't believe it, tears were stinging in my eyes, i could feel my body feel weightlessness and falling on the floor with the receiver in my hand. I knew that there were chances like that my dad could not have been present at that very moment at the attacked area or they were misunderstandings with the attacked unit, but I could not get rid of the lingering thoughts that he would have been present in the attack.  

 It was after two days that we got the confirmation that my dad was no more and it was heartbreaking. This information would be very hard on Anna. I wanted to keep it a secret, but that was not possible. I still remember the tears in Anna's eyes, she didn't ate food that day. Grandma had tears in her eyes, she was trying to wipe it, to be strong in front of us. But the tears kept flowing. He was hers only son. I felt like killing each and every werewolf out there, who killed my dad, to go join the army. But I had  to be logical and think about my only sister and grandma.

We were financially very weak and I knew it was me who had to take care of Anna and grandma. I so hated the Were's to take away my dad. I started finding any small job I could get a hold of. Not many were ready to give a job to sixteen year old boy. And I specifically wanted to get a job in which i could benefit and get an experience.
  
By some miracle I found an urgent vacancy for junior architect in Real-Estate company. I applied it online and forgot about it.
I didn't thought they would consider me for it. Since I was totally inexperienced. After couple of days I gotta a call from Angela, she was from the HR department. She liked my Resume and she called me for the interview and I passed the interview.

It was a internship that included simple stuff like collaborating designs of the project, completing paper work and to have software skills.
I was very ecstatic that day, I could work full time and study at the night school. It was awesome, the salary was also satisfying. I would be able to support Anna and grandma. The thought enough gave me peace in my mind. 

So here I am 24 years old and completed my graduation in architecture and have done my internship in a very renowned company called Black Infrastructures and now working full-time there. Robert Black is the owner of the company and also the king of the alphas. Blacks does not only dominate Real-estate but also major sectors like Hotels, Restaurant and Resorts. Although I dearly despise them and werewolves in general, but I had to work for them in order suffice our daily needs and to pay Anna's school fees. I would definitely like to switch job in a firm run by humans, but yes I am very content with my job currently and loving the work environment where I have sweat colleagues who are very supportive.

In our department there are no were's, though my best pal David is mated to Samantha who is a Werewolf.
David claims to be in love, but I know he dosnt has any other choice. Samantha can take him to court, if he dosnt except her.
She has the power to make his life upset down. Moreover the law will put his life to standstill. So much so that he has to except her. But anyways he really seems to be in love. He would be blushing mess just by the mere mention of her name.
