Entangled Unwillingly

Chapter Eleven

I could hear alarm blaring loudly. Getting up and realizing those nightmares I feel { had were actually real hit me hard. I hardly got any sleep yesterday with all the overthinking. I got over-hyped, I have so much things to do. Remembering breaking up with Grace also being in the list brought a very foul mood.

Getting up from my bed and imagining  that everything happening is not real to tame down my mood. I freshened up and wore the office formal clothes, nothing fancy. I got to the kitchen and prepared a black coffee on the go. Grandma came in the kitchen, said her good morning to me and I just watched her. she was the one who used to hold in the night when I used to cry missing mom and dad. Holding and rocking me back and forth saying everything is gonna fine.

I wrapped my arms around her, I am gonna miss her. "hey, hey, big boy what happened". I started sniffling "Why cant everything go back to as it was, with no werewolf's and all these other worldly being's" "hey shhhh its fine" she drew circles on my back.

"Ezzy everything happens for good, probably now you cannot see the good in things. But later in life things are just gonna be okay and you will see things setting in place." she said still drawing circles in life.

Slowly getting loose from her embrace "Yes it might" I said.

"Yes, that's my boy, now wait I will just fix egg, bacon and toast real quick" she said reaching the pan. "No Mum, I will have something on my way, thanks though and goodbye" I said taking my keys and my coffee. "Alright take care Love"

Opening the door I face the two people I certainly don't want to face this early in the morning. "Hey, how did you get to know where i live?" I said the first thing that crossed my mind. "Babe, we know each and everything about you." Damien said cupping my face, tilting it upwards and kissing me right on the lip. Backing up from his tight grip was not an option so I just awkwardly stood there hoping he would just stop.

When he was satisfied with the maneuvering on my lip he conveniently passed me to other giant who settled for the most tender peck on my lips. And holding my hands lead me to the limo parked just outside my house.

I wanted to meet Grace before office, but now I am stuck with these wretched creatures. Getting in the limo I was made to sit in between both of them.

As we were nearing the office. My phone dinged to which I removed my phone to see it was a text message from Grace to meet before office. My heart started to beat loudly and my hand started to shake. Contact No. for Grace had a heart emoji in it. I immediately stuffed my phone in pocket. "Babe you alright and who was that" Noah said. Sensing my fear. "Its Anna my little sister, she wants the new gaming console and been very stubborn about it." Please-please buy my lie.

"when we go shopping we can buy her that console too" he said taking my hand in his.

"Can we do that" I said trying my brightest smile possible.

"Anything for babe" He said.

Thank you god for saving me this time.

In the office our table was beside each other. I discreetly texted that we can meet after office at her place. she replied with a simple ok. I guess she might be unhappy with me. As I have been  turning down on all our meeting plans recently.

   I need to speak with Alex regarding tickets. "You guys want some coffee, I am going to bring some coffee for myself." I said. "No need for you to go, I will tell Stefan to bring some, How do you like your coffee?" Damien asked. What do I say now, I want some space from you dimwits not coffee. "Coffee with cream and cubes of sugar, please" I said.
"Babe in one hour we will have meeting with the accounts team, I would want you to keep a pager of important details for further reference" Noah said.
"Ezra we also want to talk to you about your job" Damien said. "Yes, it would be much better we break the ice real early." Noah said.
The room was silent. What do they expect from me now... I looked at them, they were looking at me waiting for some affirmation to continue the conversation. "About what? I don't understand" I said.
"Well you will not be working in this company for long. In-fact you would not be working at all in future. We are capable to provide you whatever you want be it expensive shopping or a vacation. The only reason you are still working is because we are your bosses and we would not tire you with all the work that a luna should not endure" Damien said in a no-nonsense voice where I had no gap for a debate.
I gulped trying to not feel anything with his bold approach. Where I could feel my career shattering which I have build with my whole life and efforts. The idea that I would not be able to continue my passion and not provide for my family made me immensely sad. I tried to blink the tears away that threatened to fall.
"Babe I know you it is your passion to design and bring your designs to life and contributing to the society. But you need to understand we are in a constant move, this is just a fraction of our business. We have many businesses across the state and we want you to be with us. Live with us, spend all your time with us. As for financially we would support you as well as your family, Your family would have no problem. Anna will study in best school and not worry about a dime." Noah said soothingly.
The anger rising me wanted to burst and yell at them. Throw a resignation letter on their face and storm out of this place. But the result of that would be far worse than I am already in.
Noah wiped the tear that escaped my eyes. "Don't overthink babe, its gonna be far better than your imagination." He said.
"I love my job, I know with you guys I will get all the wealth and respect. But please I have worked my whole life just to be where I am now." I said my voice cracking.
"Its not up for debate, its already decided. I am sure we can allocate some other work to you. With less complexity and anyways as our mate you would be required in most of the Luna part of governance that will keep you busy" Damien said. My body was twitching to go out of this room and call Alex and tell him book the tickets fast so I can leave these stupid ass people.
I looked at the hands on my lap and just nodded. Show them my submission would be better for my escape plan. "I swear babe we would always keep you happy" Noah said capturing my lips and dominating my mouth and swirling his tongue in an utmost professional manner. These Alpha's might be trained in giving French kisses too. I backed off a bit stopping the kiss.
"Noah, Damien I have started to like you guys, but these restrictions are way too much to handle." looking at my lap I whispered "just please I need some space for now" I again whispered in my most innocent voice.
"how about you go bring the coffee you wanted... " Noah said. while Damien looked that he was about to stop me. I just nodded not waiting for Damien to stop me and got out of the room. I speed walked to the Coffee Shop, went into the coffee shop and sat somewhere in the corner. I ordered the coffee and immediately called Alex. "hello buddy, how's it going" Alex said. "Dude I need to get out of this place, these mutts are planning to stop my job, in my case, I will leave anyway. but they still don't get the right to dictate what I want to do with my life. Nothing is going good after I have met them. I have not fucking met Grace and been ignoring her, I don't know what will I explain to her. They have just messed up my life in the worst way possible" I could feel wetness on my cheeks and immediately wiped it off. "Ezra, you hear me good. This is not the time to get emotional I will send you the tickets today or most probably tomorrow don't make the mistake of hurrying up the process and make mistakes. Its good that they haven't publicly announced you as a mate. So things will be a bit easier. Just calm down and keep things handy" Alex said. I just breathed and assimilated all the information given.
"Ezra, I think it would be better to not keep Grace in the loop" "what do you mean" "It would be better for you to stay away from her, you need to get out of there as soon as possible. They obviously have eye on you 24/7. And meeting Grace can create speculation and can hinder your process of escaping the Country" Alex said almost it was as easy as it sounds.
"besides once you get out of the state you will have all the time to explain everything through the phone" Alex said.
"Okay I will think about it. I need to go now, they will have doubt about my whereabouts" I said. We said our goodbyes and I walked towards the office taking the coffee on the way. Hopping to get some peace in my newly found catastrophe.
