Entangled Unwillingly

Chapter One

  Getting up by 5 in the morning has become common to me, since these 4 years. I could see that today would be a gloomy day just by hearing the little drops drizzling outside the window. Even our lives have become dull these past years.
     After the tragic war between human and the supernatural's it was never the same for the whole humanity. The supernatural's were not the first ones to attack the human kind. It were the humans unfortunate ego that lead the humans into our own demise. And whole of the mankind had to face the consequence. After the start of the war numerous humans died, in a blink entire families were dead. They were just a bit kind to leave to children in their own misery. They were just too strong and way too fast. We still could not find their weak point.
And now after the war, that went for just around one month. We did lost against them. Now they had the power, the whole government consisted of them.
And now they have laws for their own good, some seriously ridiculous laws about mates. They were very serious about their mates in the human society. If their mate is not willing he/she would just disappear in the thin air.
Humans had to abide by them or there were serious consequences.
Consequences which anyone don't want to get their self entangled with and destroy their peace. Since each and every protests were silenced with their power. And sometimes had to face repercussions by the government.

     It was not like everyone have expected their fate, there were some crazy people who were trying, their level best to bring them down. Well, obviously it was done very very secretly. Now you would ask me how do I know, Its because the one of them is my friend Jamie.. He was a petite cool boy. And once a very out-going guy, full of mischief and was so much fun to be around of it. The things kind of made of U-turn for him when the war took place, since he lost his father on the battle field. His father was the sergeant and best one on it. His mother just got depressed for a very long time. Things are better for him but the fire for avenge has yet not quenched. He has lots of guts to go on to go against werewolfs as the result could even be execution. I am very proud of Jamie because werevolves have no right to rule us and try to dictate us, I would never want my sister to just disappear because someone is claiming her to be his mate.

    Jamie works in a group who are just as determined as him. He dosnt want me to be included too much in this as he know it could be risky. But there are some bits of information he gives about the process. They are quite hard working as it becomes very hard to work under dark and with very less funds. Their adamant hard-work have successfully develop two or three things in order to protect ourselves from werewolfs. The best of them is the spray where you can put it on the body and the body perfume does not get identified by the weres its made from a root of the plant which is found in deep jungles even werewolves use to use it to hide their body scent in sitiuations, And the concentrated version may even help us to be unidentified by our mate, that is just unless the mate touches you. Any which ways it was quite cool...

       I looked at my digital clock to see its already 5.15. I hurriedly got up from the bed to the bathroom and change into my sweat pants I proceeded to take the house keys and plugged in my headphones. It always relaxes me. There was no one in the street. After one hour of jogging and getting all sweaty I came back to my house and did my shower and made some pancakes, eggs and bacon. While grandma was brewing some coffee. As i was making the breakfast for Anna and Grandma, Anna came to the table with a big smile ready for the school "Good-morning Anna, looks like somebody is excited to go school" as anna sat on the chair digging into her pancakes, "Good Morning bubba, I will be getting to meet sarah and nick after so many days". I could see she was quite excited since it was her first day of school.
       We had our small talk in between the breakfast. Grandma was insisting anna to complete the glass of milk and it was almost time to take my little sis to her school. "kiddo lets go or we will be late to school". Anna went to collect her bag, "Ma can you bring anna back home" i said to grandma.

"Don't worry about that, You take care and don't overwork yourself" she said and i kissed her goodbye. while i headed to my old car. And just like that the busy day had started.
