Entangled Unwillingly

Chapter Ten

Waking up to find myself wrapped in a very comfortable blanket, I buried myself in the blanket and started to drift again.
Wait. Where am I.
I startled sat up on the couch. This is so unprofessional I slept on the couch in my workplace. I removed my phone to see I slept for 3 hours.
I have so many arrangements to do and I am sleeping here.
Where are the brothers...
I saw a note on the table. "Take rest today, call us when u see this note".
I started planning ahead. Transferring most of my money to grandma's account.
Then book tickets and make a small duffle bag with minimalist items for me to run.
And the hardest part break up with Grace.
I need to talk to Alex and sort out the planning.
There may be bodyguards around me at all times. They might be stationed near my house too.
I need to be very cautious.

But first things first, Build trust with the Beast Brothers.

Where my acting skills would come in handy, have to show them that I can be trusted

I called up Noah "hey" "hello kitten you got a good nap?" "Yup most comfortable one, I have this headache brewing though can I take a day off today and go home early" I asked.
"Of course we are almost done here, give us 10 mins we will drop you home" Noah said.
"Noah its no problem I have booked an Uber, I will go safely and call you after I reach" I said in a loving tone as if we are in a relationship for months and I was cringing inside.
"Okay, call me once u sit in the Uber and once you reach. Alright?" He said.
This could have never gone this smooth with Damien.
"Sir, yes sir " I mock saluted.
"I am serious kitten" Noah said sounding serious.
"Alright I will do as you said" I said in an equally serious tone.
"Love you, bye" He said.
"Bye" I said and hanged up.
I soon booked an Uber. And excited the office. As I sat on the Uber I looked back to see any one following.

I can't see any bodyguard following.
But I can't take a chance.

I made a quick stop to go to the small mall that had the grocery and an aisle of electric appliances too.

I quickly went to the appliance section and bought a cheap phone and an un traceable number. And hurried to the grocery section and bought basic items for a spaghetti. In case they know about my small stop my excuse would be ready. 

I then went to my home and called up Noah where Damien answered the call and berated me over not calling while sitting in the Uber. I gave a lame excuse and got in the house to see the house empty.

I arranged the untraceable phone. Well I need to calculate everything about all the investments and assets I have acquired in these past few years. Thankfully I have cleared all the mortgages in the past years. I won't be leaving my family in any debt. After I am gone my family would not have to struggle in the money aspect.

My phone started to blink. It was Grace. Shit I can't get emotional. How do I uncover the news to her? How will she take it? Will she lash out on me to break our promise? Or wont she never talk to me? So many questions were going through my mind. I am not ready for this now.

The blinking of my screen halted. Deciding not to call her. I know these conversation can not be done on my phone. I have to speak to her face to face. 

I focused my work and Wired most of the money to my grandmothers account. And left some for me to survive at the most for three month and then once I get the job I will start sending regularly once I get some job. And also deposited some in a stable index fund which might help Anna later in life And then closed my internet banking app.

I have to take some cash for my future. In case they trace my Debit card.

By the time I was done, Anna and Grandma walked with Anna licking  on the ice-cream.  "Hey you guys". "hey bubba". Anna ran towards me and hugged me.
Anna said everything that happened in school. While grandma started cooking. 
I excused my self and went in my room. I removed my non-trackable phone and called up Alex, who picked up on the second ring "yes, who's this". "Alex its me Ezra, I got this cheap phone and installed an untreatable satellite sim card. Is it fine to talk?" Insuring everything is fine. Don't wanna jeopardies my friends safety.
"Its fine, listen I discussed your situation with my close friends here. And we all suggest you going to Greenland or New Zealand, there are werewolves less there. Go lay low there and start a new life. And destroy all the evidences you have with Grace for her safety"
"Okay. Can you book me tickets and make some accommodations over which ever country you feel is best" I asked. I need things to be planned before hand.
