Katrina's dad was a very well known Serpent. He was known as Will 'Blackheart' Johnson. He was FP's right-hand man next to Tall Boy, FP was the brains and Blackheart was the braun (seeing he was 6'10). Her mother died at childbirth and Blackheart swore to protect his daughter no matter the cost. She joined the Serpents at 12 years old with her best friends Fangs Fogarty, Sweat Pea, and Toni Topaz Considering she had grown up around Serpents and was a Serpent by blood she didn't have to so the Serpent dance. She has been through a lot before she officially joined the Serpents. When she was 5 she was threatened by some of the Ghoulies. So her father gave her to Penny Peabody trusting her to raise her daughter the right way. Penny abused her till she was 13, the only escape she got during those 8 years of her life was hanging out with her best friend Toni Topaz, Betty Cooper, Archie Andrews, and Jughead Jones. When FP Jones found out about this he "adopted" her and Jughead saw her as a sister and him as a brother. Penny moved out of the Sunny Side trailer park and moved into a tattoo parlor when FP found out about the abuse. When she was 14 and had officially been with the Serpents for 2 years, she found her father had been murdered by an unknown person (still unknown). Kat was devastated and shut herself off from everybody and trained herself self-defense, how to use a knife, how to use a gun. When she came to the Serpents they started to call her their 'queen' and 'Viper'. Her and Sweat Pea were closer than ever after she got back. After joining the Serpents Betty Cooper and Archie Andrews stopped hanging out with her and basically abandoned her, she got mad at Jughead for blaming him for his mom and sister (who she knows and loves) leaving. The death of her father and her abusive guardian still haunt her but she has her Serpent family to help her through it.
