Chapter 2

The next day I was getting ready to go to school when I got a phone call from Toni, "hey Toni what's up?" "It's Jughead he was attacked by some ghoulies, can you meet me at his trailer?" If this were anyone else I would not care, but Jughead is like my brother, "yeah I'm on my way there right now." I hung up after that not waiting for a response, put on my heels before heading downstairs to tell Sweat Pea. I saw him on the couch watching TV and I quickly greeted him with a kiss. "Hey Sweets you can head to school without me, I'm stopping at Jug's trailer on the way to school, he was attacked." Sweat pea scoffed at this, " well we did warn him". I smiled at him over my shoulder before heading out the door.

(Time Skip)

I walked through the door of Jug's trailer to see Betty Cooper, my ex-best friend, she looked up at me in surprise while I looked at her a glare on my face. She looked back down at the medical stuff in her hands before speaking to Jug, "can't you just take a day off?" "It's not that bad, " Jug said trying to get her to stop worrying. "Just some cuts and bruises, "I good you that motorcycle was dangerous Jug, " me and Toni shared a look, what was she talking about? "You promised me you were always going to wear a helmet" "It's just around the block, don't blame me, blame the pothole" " I thought you were going to say you got jumped by those, creepies" "Ghoulies, but no the Serpents wouldn't allow that, they got Jugheads back, even though he isn't a member, it's just family loyalty, "I said stepping forward forcing Betty to look at the friend she abanded. Betty signed before standing up, "great, well I gotta go to schools and try and fix this mess with Kevin, Toni, Jade will you keep an eye on him, " I slightly glared at her for calling me, Jade, but didn't say anything and just nodded. "All over it," Toni said with a two-fingered salute. When Betty left I gave him a look of curiosity, "don't tell Betty, she doesn't need to know" "we warned you about the Ghoulies, I think you'll take them a little more seriously now, " I said like an older sibling scolding their little sibling. "Yeah, I will now."

(Time Skip)

I was sitting on Sweet Pea's lap during chatting with Toni and Fangs while Sweets was placing kisses on the back if my shoulder where my Serpent tattoo is. Toni looked at me with a smirk on her face "you two's PDA grosses me out." I smiled at my best friend and said "aw, Toni don't be jealous because you haven't your lover yet, " I said with a smirk, she rolled her eyes at me while the other Serpents just laughed at us. Jug walked up to us and asked Toni "is this seat taken?" She grabs her bag moves it before giving Sweet Pea a look while I took his hand to keep him calm. He looked at Jones before giving him a smirk, Jughead looked at me and gave me a nod before turning away to look around the room.

The next day during lunch we were sitting around a laptop, some glaring, some laughing at a video some stupid Northsider who I recognized to be Archie Andrews who decided to post threatening the black hood. "Hey, I guess we aren't watching funny cat videos?" 'We will find you' Sweet Pea paused the video in the middle of it and turned the screen around so Jughead could see, "check this out, some sick in the head Northsider posted a crazy ass video, " he paused looking around at all the Serpents, "and uh, we were just talking." "About what," Jug said wanting to get straight to the point. "Fogarty wants to earn his Serpent stripes, I say bring us the head of that Northsider, and you are in, " he asked looking at Fangs waiting for an answer. "I'm down with that, " Fangs said looking a Jug. Sweet Pea laughed and started banging his fists on the table while I just sat there with a smirk on my face. "No guys..." "What Jones, " Sweet Pea asked. "Alright I know this guy, he's a milk toast, he's a football player, kind of a lame target is all I'm saying, " Toni and I gave him weird look. "You wanna prove something, why don't you go after the black hood?" Sweet Pea stood up at his full height towering over every Serpent looking Jug in the eye while putting his hands on my shoulders. "And why would we do that, the black hood is targeting Nothrsiders, who do nothing but blame the Southside for everything that's wrong with this town, and we're sick of it." "Black Hoods doing our work for us, he's a hero, " I said finishing for Sweet Pea because I could tell he was getting more mad at Jug by the second. With that, I got up and walked away wishing for this day to be over soon.
