Payton's p.o.v (🤭🤭) My whole body filled with electricity as our lips moved together in sync, this has got to be the best moment of my life. Sadly, that moment ended too fast as she pulled away with shock covering her beautiful face "I-i Payton "she managed to get out I hugged her and rubbed her back. I was so confused as to what just happened but I know she must be feeling so many things right now, heartbroken. Sadness. Confusion. God only knows what she must feel, me on the other hand I am so confused the girl I have loved forever just kissed me and it most definitely doesn't mean anything to her, so we just sat the the look of shock and confusion written across both our faces "I don't know what possessed me to do that Payton, I'm so sorry. I don't know what to say" her soothing voice said breaking the awkward silence that had taken over the hotel room. "I know it probably didn't mean anything to you but, to me it just confuses me so much more- because I love you emma. But I also love you like a best friend and I don't want my feelings to get in the way of our friendship, so if you truly don't feel anything just tell me now so I can move on because not knowing is killing me." I said staring into her icy blue eyes which where studying my face I couldn't make out what she was feeling " Payton if I'm being completely honest here, I don't know. Because I-I did feel something when we kissed but it's just- I've never looked at you in that kind of way because it was always him, but now everything's changed and I-I just" she broke into sobs and my heart was beating out of my chest, does she feel the same way? Could she possibly feel the same way? So many thoughts where flowing through my long as I held her close to my chest as her peach scent took over my nose, god how I love that smell. "Hey hey emma, it's okay you don't need to feel pressured here or anything I'll still always be by your side. No matter what" I said gently lifting her up so we where staring into each others eyes. "No matter what?" She whispered "no matter what." I said to reassure her and we stayed like this cuddled up on the hotel bed for a while.
-FEW HOURS LATER- (Still Payton's p.o.v) A few hours must have past by but I didn't mind as long as I was the one keeping her safe. I decided to check my phone 12:47 am my phone read. I guess I should wake her she has a show early in the morning I rolled over to face her and her lips where pouted and her long blonde hair was scattered across her face in the most angelic way I've seen, I decided to post it to instagram

I closed my phone and decided to wake her up. As soon as I went to wake her, her eyes fluttered open and her big blue eyes stared into mine "good morning" she said cranky "it's 1 in the morning Emma" I laughed at her because she was so cranky she rolled her eyes at me and groaned and turned over in the bed "you have a show in the morning you know?" I tried to get her attention and she just groaned at me, "I'll stay here" she mumbled pulling the comforter over her face I decided to let her sleep here seeing as she's well asleep, I got under the covers as well and kissed her forehead then closed my eyes to try and sleep.
-THE NEXT MORNING-
Emma's p.o.v My alarm woke me up way too early to function as I opened my eyes I realized I wasn't in my hotel room i stayed put in the bed and looked to my right and I wasn't alone. My brain went into panic mode I don't remember anything from last night. The shirtless guy turned towards me and my heart slowed down so it wasn't beating out of my chest.
Payton. It's just Payton, thank god. He smiled at me and I smiled back not really knowing what happened the night prior "I charged your phone for you" he said stretching "oh..thanks" I don't know why I was being so awkward with Payton right now. He's my best friend and always was, I was the closest with Payton then anyone else in the group "Payton did anything happen last night I don't remember anything" I laughed awkwardly he looked at me for a few seconds almost like he was scared or nervous about what he was going to say. He sat up right across from me. "Well.... you came over to my room and wanted to have a movie night l, then later on you got upset about a post Haley made about Drayke so I comforted you and then out of nowhere you kissed me." So many thoughts where running through my mind. Why did I kiss Payton? Do I kinda sorta possibly have feelings for Payton? "Wait you might have feelings for me" shit. I guess I said that out loud "uhm I don't know because everyone knows how i feel for Drayke but he clearly lied to me about how he felt for me yesterday. I'm just really confused right now I guess cause I always told myself you are my best friend so I couldn't possibly feel that way for you but I guess.... I don't know oh my god I'm so stressed out." I was basically tying into Payton's arms by now. "It's okay Emma." He shushed me.
I can't possibly feel for Payton, he's my best friend right?
