Today was their engagement party and Brooklyn was sweating her ass off.
She didn't know why she was nervous, it was just an engagement not the actual wedding.
"It was suppose to be a surprise but Taehyung is never really good with that" his mother spoke.
Brooklyn chuckled nervously. "Its my fault his surprise was ruined, I'm such a brat" she covered her face with her palms.
His mother laughed. "Were you surprised?"
"Yes" she whispered.
"Baby" her mother walked in.
Brooklyn smiled at her mom as she stood up to hug her tightly.
"Is the party small?" Brooklyn asked.
Her mother shook her head. "You know thats impossible"
Brooklyn sighed. "Oh okay, it's about time I go out there"
Both the mother's nodded. "You know your dad wanted to come but he couldn't "
Brooklyn nodded as she turned to Mrs. Kim. "Is Taehyungs dad here?" She asked.
Mrs Kim nodded. "He's running a little late"
Brooklyn gulped as she rubbed her palms against her sky blue dress.
"Okay"

Brooklyn walked out the room as she started to mingle between the crowd.
Everyone was congratulating her as she just smiled and nod.
She was looking for Taehyung but couldn't find him, his mother said he was here hours ago.
"Congratulations "the person whispered into her ear as she felt their breath on her neck.
Brooklyn hesitantly turned around as her eyes grew wide.
"Jungkook ?" She questioned.
He chuckled as he shook his head, a hand in his tuxedo pocket.
"I can't believe you're getting married"
Brooklyn smiled. "Yes I am"
They soon became a little awkward.
"Well I just came to wish you the best and not be the petty ex"
Brooklyn chuckled. "That's really great, I'm happy you came" she pulled him into a hug.
Jungkook cleared his throat before he nodded. "I'll like to stay but I have somewhere to be"
Brooklyn nodded understandly. "Its fine, it was great seeing you after all this time"
He just smiled before walking off giving her one more glance as she gave him a light wave.
Brooklyn looked around as she watched everyone mingling, she was still wondering what Taehyung was doing.
She was about to find her mom until she heard his voice.
Turning to the stage that's when she saw Taehyung in a suit and his hair neatly combed.
She smiled fondly as she watched him entertain the crowd.
