Brooklyn walked around in her  hospital gown as she waited for Taehyung and his mother to arrive.

"You don't need to be pacing, we both know it's his " her mother spoke.

Brooklyn eyed her "It's not that, I already know it's his." She paused. "Ma, I've been.... I need to tell you something"

Brooklyns mother furrowed her brows. "You can tell me anything,  I'm your mother"

"I know I should have talked to you sooner but......I'm Just so confused"

Her mother sighed "we all get confused and out of focus sometimes,  we're human"

Brooklyn nodded. "Yeah" she breathed. "I'm a terrible person, I used Taehyung and I feel so bad"

"How ?" Her mother was now confused.

Brooklyn sat down on the bed. "I had sex with him today......the doctor did recommended it" she scratched the back of her head.

Her mother gasped. "Brooklyn"

The girl lowered her head. "I know, its  disrespectful"

"Didn't you end things with him?" Her mother asked. "You're going to give him mix signals now"

Brooklyn played with her fingers.  "I know and I'm currently talking to this other guy and I'm so confused"

"Oh baby"her mother said softly. "Its what the heart wants, so its up to you to decide"

The girl scrunched her nose up.  "Gabriel is such an amazing guy and i want to experience being with him....you know; seeing the world from a diffrent perspective"

Her mother could feel the yearning in her daughters words.

"So you broke up with Taehyung because you wanted to know what its like being with diffrent people?"

"Is that being selfish?" Her voice was mellow.

Brooklyn's mother smiled as she went to engulf her first born into a tight hug, yet comforting.

"No it isnt being selfish,  but now a baby is envolved"

Brooklyn nodded. "The baby wasn't planned,  I think finding out about my pregancy kind of pushed me to leave him" she sighed. "We aren't good for eachother"

"Now why would you say that?"

"Because I'm a terrible person" she whispered.

Brooklyn had fell asleep in her mothers arms until a faint knock on the door woke her up.

The girl sat up as she told whoever they could come in.

"Sorry I'm late, had a client " Gabriel walked in with a bouquet of flowers.

Brooklyn was slightly surprised, forgetting she had called him.

"Its Okay" she smiled as he brought the flowers over.

"Is the baby Okay?" He asked concerned.

Brooklyn smiled as she held her tummy.  "Moving around alot lately"

He touched her stomach as he smiled.  "True, but when will we know its gender?" He asked as she held his hands over her stomach.

"After birth"

Gabriel rolled his eyes. "So how will we know what baby thingamagig to buy?"

"We'll go neutral" she chuckled. "I like how you're talking like its your baby"
