X - family i

A soft smile spread over his face while David prepared a breakfast as he listened to the kids chatting with their daddy in the living room. It's almost two weeks since Simon had gone for a work trip to America,  and the boys do miss him.

".....and papa promised us a movie night so we're going to the mall after school to get something to eat at night" Eric cheerfully state about their evening plan.

"daddy when are you coming home? we miss you..." asked Alfred with a voice lower than he should "...and papa miss you too"

When David heard the boys were going down and before their emotionals takes over "Boys, breakfast's ready...come on here" he called them from the kitchen.

Eric and Alfred took their seat and David served them their plate. "here, daddy want to talk to you" Alfred handed him the phone.

"Hello, Sy..." he said whilst taking a seat at the end of the table.

"hey baby" a deep husky voice from the other line greeted.

"how's your night going?"

"great, everything's fine...the auditions were just amazing...but kinda boring without you, wish you were here"

David giggled as he imagined Simon pouted his lips saying that words. "wish you we're here too..."

"Are you making a cottage pie last night?" David hummed "hey, that's not fair....you should've wait for me"

"why don't you just come home...?”

" you know i can't" he replied and David hissed, knowing that the audition's over last night but he need to stay there a little longer for some meetings as said by Simon.

"Anyway go to sleep now, its getting late there isn't it.."

"Yeah...past 2 in the morning" Simon began yawning as he looked at his watch.

"Goodnight Sy, love you"

"bye...have a great day, love you more"

David chuckled a little and pressed the power button off. "daddy and papa, sitting in the tree. k.i.s.s.i.ng...." sang the boys watching their papa grinning widely.

"alright boys...if you've done with that, go grab your bags. I'll take out the car" David told them feeling little embarrassed from his kids.

Simon's pov:

So this is it, this is what it feels like having a family, a family that is more important than anything else. I was on my way home, telling the driver to speed up a little before my kids go to bed.

Finally, finally i was standing in front of my door feeling the cold breeze hitting my face. I slowly unlocked the door, making sure not make a sound cause i want to surprise them.

I almost tipped toe along the hallway and walked towards the living room where i heard a faint sound from the TV. I leaned against the partition, enjoy a little bit the view in front of my eyes, they're my world.

They splayed pillows and sheets on the floor with lots of foods and chocolate besides them. Guess their having fun tonight. David sat in the middle leaning against the couch holding Eric in his arms. Alfred hold a large bucket a popcorn leaning against this father's side.

All eyes were on the screen, laughing with every move made from the movie. My heart melts watching them, they looked so happy and that's adorable, so adorable that that's all i want to see forever in my life. Though i want to take that scene forever, i want to know what it would be like if i join them.

I cleared my throat to get their attention "Daddy!!!! Is that you?" Alfred poked his head up, not seeing me exactly as i stand in the dark.

"what??? Daddy is home?" asked Eric and David too keep his head up searching for me.

I take a step or two forwards and exclaimed "Surprise!!!!" and held out my hands to welcome the boys.

Alfred put his bucket aside and ran towards me. Eric did the same, running out from David's arms and the two embrace me with their biggest hug.

" i miss you" they said as i lifted them up, holding them both in my arms.

"I miss you too....so so much" i kissed them in their cheek and they giggled, we make our way towards their pillow fort.

As soon as i put the boys down, David reach out his hands with a big smile on his face. I pull him up and he hastily throw his arm around my neck, pulling me close for a warm, sweet, passionate welcome kiss.

"ewww...." the boys cried out, Alfred closed his eyes with one hand and the other covering for Eric.

We pulled away for some air and i rested my forehead in his "glad you're home, we missed you" he mumbled.

"great to be home...and i missed you too" i said giving him a little peck again on his lips.

We watched the movie holding Eric in my arms and Alfred leaning on my side, the same position like David when i entered. David sat next to me snaking his arms around my waist and rested his head on my shoulder.

Eric soon fall asleep in my arms burying his face on my chest. The credits rolled out on the screen with a low tune playing along the background. Alfred stirred awake a little and laid himself on the couch and go back to slumber.

"thought you'll be back only by next week" he whispered

"there's no work left that i can't do from here and the miss you, and the boys, plus....don't wanna missed any of my cottage pie" he giggled against my skin which made me laugh too.

"you wouldn't...i'll make for you tomorrow"

We stayed in silence for a while, enjoying each others company under the dim light .

"David...do you not really want to take a nanny?" I asked all of a sudden remembering that all the household works were done by him.

Its true that i'm not much a helper. When i'm not out of the country, all i did was cooking breakfast whilst David dressed up the boys for school. We both dropped them to school and i always head up straight to work. David's the one who picked them up after school, helping them with their home works and playing with them. When i get home, he already prepared a dinner and still got the energy to entertain me in bed.

"no...no need, see...we can managed" he said grinning, pinching my cheek

"I mean what about your writings? If you do all the work, you'll hardly get a book done"

"It's okay. I can write whilst the kids are at school. Plus i don't want the kids to have someone who'll take care of them other than me or you"

"David.....you.are.a.protective father..." i kissed his hair and he nuzzled further into my neck "...they're so lucky to have a father like you"

"same goes to you"

We stayed silent again. David gave me small kisses down my neck and i can feel his warm breath pressed against my skin. I tilted my head a bit to give him better access.

He ran his finger over my back to the nape of my neck. I turn to face him and soon he captured my lips with his. He bought up his hand on my face to pull me closer and let his tongue slide in my mouth. I let out a small moans as my blood running down my crotch.

I still hold Eric in my arms so my position didn't allow me much moves. I pulled away promptly and get up. David just stared at me in his chocolate dark brown eyes with his plumpy lips, looking horny and confused.

I laid down Eric on the couch opposite to Alfred. Before i even take a turn, David grabbed my hands and lead me to our room.......
