How They Propose: Kinji X Tsurugi

-Tsurugi was super nervous about proposing to Kinji

-They'd only been dating for six months, and even though their relationship is perfect, Tsurugi isn't sure whether Kinji would want to get married this soon. But Kinji did mention that he wanted to get ordained soon, and once he got ordained, he wasn't allowed to get married...

-The others tell Tsurugi to stop messing around and just marry him already, cuz Kinji loves him to bits, and they know he does too

-This may or may not have been accompanied by Mitch singing, 'Fuck Me in the ass Cuz I Love Jesus!', changing 'Ass' to 'Kinji', and Haruhiko, Teruya, and Satsuki joining in

-Tsurugi and the others give them dirty looks, but Mitch just says, "What? You ain't gonna get to fuck him, unless you marry him, cuz, y'know, he's Catholic..." 

-But anyway, Tsurugi decides he wants to go ahead and propose, because Kinji is everything to him, and he wants to be able to marry him before it's too late

-He buys a thin, silver engagement ring; Kinji wouldn't want anything too flashy

-What he doesn't know is that Kinji was planning to propose too

-Tsurugi wants to make it super romantic and perfect, so he takes Kinji out for a twilight picnic under the stars, and gets some expensive champagne, and a fruits basket, cuz Kinji adores fruit

-Kinji brings some pralines and nut brittle (Made by Ruruka, cuz who else makes better sweets?). He also ties his hair up, cuz Tsurugi thinks he looks better with his hair up

-Neither can find the courage to do it, at first, so they spend ages feeding each other treats, cuddling, and generally being sickeningly cute

-Tsurugi tells Kinji he's glad to have fallen in love with him, because he can't imagine getting this close to anyone else. Kinji is everything to him, because he's the only person he feels able to drop his guard around

-Kinji replies by saying that he's glad that God included Tsurugi in His plan for him. Tsurugi is the only person he feels truly safe and loved around, and the only person he'd ever want to fall in love with, even if he were given the choice

-Tsurugi is such a gentleman, when he eventually proposes. He slides the ring on Kinji's finger, and asks if the most perfect, beautiful priest in the world will marry him

-And it makes Kinji super emotional. He's a mess, and he just starts crying and nodding, before pulling out the ring he bought for Tsurugi, and telling him he was going to ask if he'd marry him, too

-Tsurugi kisses Kinji, before he puts the ring on, and they end up admiring their rings together, as they finish the last of the champagne and cuddle

-They announce their engagement to everyone pretty quickly, and the others are overjoyed for them

-Mitch sings 'Fuck me in the Ass Cuz I Love Jesus' again, much to Kinji's disapproval

-"May the Lord smite thee down, Higa-san..."

-But regardless, the two are beyond happy to be engaged, and the others are happy to be invited to their wedding. They've never been to a Christian wedding before, so it will be a new experience for them

-Kinji is struggling with how to tell the children they can't all be bridesmaids/flower girls/page boys at their wedding

-Tsurugi and Kinji are beyond excited to spend their lives together, and for the latter to finally get ordained
