A/N: Hi guys, I'VE LITERALLY THOUGHT OF THE BEST IDEA FOR THIS BOOK AND I CANT WAIT! Also just a friendly reminder that this story does contain mature content and will do throughout. Sorry for any mistakes, I wrote this at 2am sksksks

White steam continuously oozed from Cora's recently poured hot-chocolate, which in result created tiny rings of condensation on her laptop screen as she intensely researched more into the subject of the supernatural - or more specifically, ghosts.

Finding yet another page that peaked her interest, she anxiously took another large bite out of her croissant as she pressed onto it.

It worried her knowing she had someone's life in her hands other than her own, she still wasn't quite sure how doctors could do it everyday knowing they could possibly kill someone in the process.

Unfortunately for her, there was no course or training that came with trying to save a ghost.

The best she could do was research and hope that at least one of these useless websites had some decent information relating to the matter at hand.

Huffing in frustration as the steam eventually blurred half of the screen, she carefully wiped it clean but instantly jumped when it was replaced with an image of Taehyung's reflection.

"Stop!" she yelled, trying to calm her heart, "I could've dropped my croissant."

Taehyung cringed apologetically, "Sorry, I was just curious about what you were looking at. Have you found anything yet?"

She frowned at him in annoyance as he floated around her, "No I haven't and you keep interrupting me every five minutes doesn't help."

"But I'm bored." He admitted.

She cocked her brow, "So? What do you want me to do about that?"

He smirked, "Well actually-"

She held up her hand, "I swear if you make another sexual joke I will gladly make sure you can't have children when I find your real body."

"I wasn't going to!" He surrendered, "I was actually going to say that I've found something that you may find interesting."

"If you show me your dick, I swear Taehyung-" she began but got cut off by his chuckling.

"No, it's something else that might help us find out who I am." He assured, causing her to sigh in relief.

"Fine, so show me."

"I'll show you just wait a second

"I'll show you just wait a second..." Taehyung ordered as he forced Cora to close her eyes.

She squinted in fear as she clumsily moved forward, "Just hurry up Tae."

She was still amazed on how she didn't notice the hidden latch for the whole month she had been living in the apartment, but here she was now stumbling onto a secret roof that no one knew about.

No one but Taehyung.

It was probably a stupid idea to follow him up since she could slip at any moment and no one would ever be able to find her decaying corpse.

"Can I look yet?" She pestered uneasily as she held out her hands in caution.

"Not yet, just move a little bit to your left." Taehyung said confidently.

She quickly did as she was told, "What about now?"

He clapped his hands, "Okay, now you can open them."

And so she did.

"Oh... Wow..."

There, as if it was just freshly sculptured especially for her, was the city of Seoul.

"I can see my office from here!" She announced eagerly as she pointed to the particular building.

Taehyung smiled smugly, "I knew you would love it." He informed casually, also stood facing the view, "I remembered it the other day when you went to go look for some books. The street artist must have triggered my memory."

She crossed her brows, "Why would that make you remember a rooftop?"

He ushered her to follow him to yet again another glass panelled room, "It's because I have my own studio up here. It used to be a greenhouse but I must have converted it."

Her mouth gaped open.

It all made sense.

"You were an artist." She muttered aloud, carefully pushing the doors open to reveal stacks upon stacks of drawings and paintings.

He nodded, "It does appear that way."

She began to search through the masses of papers littering the floor and walls becoming more and more fascinated by each drawing as she went on.

"T-these," she held up a particular drawing of a woman, "these are amazing Taehyung! You are amazing!"

His cheeks flushed red, "You really think so?"

"Of course, I always presumed you had a history with art but this is more than that... this room Tae... This is who you truly are." She exasperated, soon calming down when she met his longing gaze.

It stayed that way for some time until he decided to blink.

"Erm, can you draw?" He diverted the conversation.

She gulped harshly, still feeling a little confused about what just happened.

"No, I can't." Cora confessed, "Hey, when I bring you back maybe you could draw me? I've always wanted to be someone's muse." She joked, but received no laughter.

He made a face, "If I manage to come back, don't you mean?"

For some reason her heart sank at his words, "No, not if. I promise I will bring you back, okay?"

He looked away, "Fine, I will hold you to it."

Wow, if I wasn't already feeling pressured enough I sure do now.

She tried to ignore her thoughts, "Tae," she quickly posed, "Paint me like one of your French girls."

He bit back his laugh, "No, I do not agree with that disgusting behaviour."

She ignored him and continued, "Jack! JACK! I'll never let you go Jack!" Cora reached out, a smile tugging at her lips.

Playfully rolling his eyes, he swiftly held out his hand and grabbed hers.

They both froze.

"T-tae?" She stuttered, now staring at their linked fingers, "How are we holding hands right now?"

And why did it feel so natural?

His chocolate eyes flickered up to meet hers, "I have no fucking clue."
