Chapter 7
Parker POV (yay)
Crap, what the hell did I do? Trying to kiss her was maybe the worst thing I have done. Well, actually I've done worse things. But that's not the point, the girl actually did reject me. Did I lose my charm? My reputation is ruined forever. I steal glances from Astrid and I look at her, she looks so peaceful and adorable when she's sleeping. I park at a gas station, to rest for a bit. I push away a strand of her black hair, and I stare into her brown eyes. Cute, wait what am I saying? Nope not falling for her, no way. I may have tried to kiss her, but actually loving her is on a whole other level." I'm sorry Minnie. I didn't mean to kiss you, I just got caught up in the moment okay? You know I would never actually kiss you." I say to her, thank God She is sleeping.
I look at the time, 7:00 pm, it's not too late. I back up from the parking lot, and I drive again back to Astrid's apartment. I park at the entrance of her apartment, and I poke her cheek to wake her up. Astrid's eyes shoot open, and she looks at me.
" Are we there yet?" Astrid says while she yawns. I look at her clothes, wet and definitely not clean.
" Yeah, we're here." I say awkwardly. I look at my Minnie take off her seatbelt and exits the car. I watch her walk away, her wet hair going back and forth, and she disappears from my sight. I smile to myself, and I drive back home.

" Dad? I'm home!" I call out.Nobody answers, must be working late again. I drop the keys on the counter, and I walk towards the fridge. I rest my hand on the cold handle, and I swing the door open. Nothing but leftovers from the diner. I scratch my head thinking what I could eat for dinner, instead I just call for pizza delivery.
" Thanks man." I say while I give him tips.
I plop down on the couch, I take in the silence of this house as I eat. This place was much more alive when mom was here. She would scold me for coming home at an ungodly hour, cook dinner all the time, and dad wouldn't be working late. I look at my phone, of course as the hottest man on this planet, I get texts from horny girls to meet them. No thanks. There's already one girl that's already got me preoccupied. I call Ryan and ask if he wants to hang out for a bit.
" So lemme guess, girl trouble." Ryan says with a smile.
" No, I just wanted to hang out with my best friend." I grin.
" You and I both know that's bullshit man. It's 9 pm for Gods sake. Who would want to hang out at this hour? And you are so lucky you are one of my closest friends, I left a girl during the middle of a hot make out session." Ryan explains.
" Yeah, yeah whatever. Look, I just need advice. I trust you the most ya know? So I have this cousin, and he's been trying to get with this girl for days, and she ain't budging. He asked me for advice, and you my friend, is the most educated on girls." I point out.
" Well you're not wrong, but a cousin? C'mon dude, there's a lot better excuses than using a cousin to get some girl advice." Ryan scoffs.
" It's true, just tell me your "advice" so you can get out of my house, and go back to hitting up with that girl." I say.
Ryan groans, " Fine, I'll just give you this, flatter her, give her compliments, tease her a bit. Check up in her, girls love it when guys give attention to her. Just don't over do it, you know what I mean? Or else you'll look desperate, and desperate does not look hot." Ryan explains.
