I've been apart of the homcoming comittee for about four years now but have never actually went to the actual homcoming itself. Ironic how I spend so much of my time to create and set something so beautiful for for a bunch of people that never really noticed me, and never actually go to see how the turn out. I usually hear about them Monday morning or saw them in the school newspaper.
Homecoming just wasn't for me.

"Alright Ladies and Gentleman" Adriana announced drawing everyones attention towards her. Adriana was the President of the homecoming comittee and has been for the past three years. Infact, it was her idea to join, she convinced me and Jessie to do it with her but Jessie was so engulfed in her Drama shows, which then left just me and Adriana. "We have yet to decides this years theme" Last years theme was a 90's throwback, a bit tacky in my opinion, and the year before that a winter in wonderland, which wasnt as bad. "Any suggestions?" Adriana asked.

"What about a Zombie Homecoming?" AJ Green, a junior said, all the way from the back. AJ was semi-cute, except for his bad acne and his overbite. He had a thing for Zombies and contantly went on and on about the upcoming Zombie Apocalypse. Personally I think he's been watching too much of The Walking Dead.

"Okay um..." Adriana froze "We'll keep that idea in mind for our Halloween Dance. But I was thinking something a little more formal and I dont think blood and brains is gonna cut it out"

"How about a night in Paris" Samantha Lee said seated right next to me. Samantha was a skinny girl with a big set of boobs, making her resemble the letter 'P' She wore glasses and had braces but no one noticed much of her face and I'm sure you can guess why. "What's fancier than Paris?" She said.

"I heard Linden High School is doing that theme this year" Megan Fuller said. Linden High School was our rival High School, and copying their homecoming theme would be a recipe for disaster.

"Gimme some more ideas guys" Adriana demanded.

"A Hollywood theme. Students dress up all fancy and get to feel like a celebrity for the night. We get a red carpet, and some photographers to act like Paparazzi" Summer, a girl who was way to perky for my liking, suggested.

I saw a faint smile appear on Adriana's face "I like that" She quickly wrote it down on a piece of notebook paper. "Any more suggestions" She asked, looking around the small room. It remained silent and thats when it was clear that everybody had offically ran out of ideas, and Adriana had ran out of patience.

"Why not a Masquarade ball" I blurted out. Everyone all turned and looked at me and I didnt blame them. I never said anything at these meetings, I just sat in the back quiet and tried to go unoticed. Everyone stood quiet "You know....We dress up in like these big ball gowns and we wear mask over our faces. Like Cinderella-"

"Yes" Adriana squealed cutting me off mid-sentence "That's perfect"I smiled, I was glad she liked my idea but being her friend I was sure she was gonna like any idea I said, even AJ's zombie idea. But judging from the silence I was getting from the crowd, I wondered did everybody else? "What do you guys think?"

"I like it, and it totally beats Lindens Theme" Vice President of the homecoming committee, Valerie Said

"Lets take a vote guys. All those for The Hollywood theme, please raise your hands" I looked around and saw Summer and three other girls raise their hands, a grand total of four. "All those for A Masquerade Ball please raise your hand" Adriana, Myself, Surpringly AJ, Megan and about three other people rose their hands. "Majority rules" Adriana smirked.
