Reading books that have such topics can be a trigger for certain people whether it be emotional or physical. I for one get triggered when reading these types of books and get overwhelmed with immense emotion of depression.
As a person who has suffered from anxiety and depression for many years, I shall be writing from personal experience. Not everyone's experience is the same and I understand that. So please be understanding of the portrayal.
