The following morning, Carmen was greeted with an aching back caused by the uncomfortable position of lying on top of a naked stranger in a bathtub. With a groan, Carmen hauled her naked body off of the stranger, making sure to avoid the puke as she stepped out of the bathtub and proceeded to put on her underwear and dress. She then commenced her journey to the kitchen, stumbling as she went, where Jackson was sitting at the table eating some cereal with no Lydia in sight.

"Looks like someone had a fun night," Jackson said smirking, his eyes laying on the colourful array of hickeys which messily covered her neck from the collarbone up. "Could've been more fun if you had joined," Carmen said in a suggestive tone giving him a cheeky wink, bringing her hand up to trail along her neck

"What a shame you missed the opportunity," She whispered looking into his blue eyes from across the counter and began pouring the cereal and milk into the bowl just as Lydia entered the room already looking ready to start her day. "Morning," She chirped kissing Jackson on the cheek as he finally snapped out of his trance from the reckless girl in front of him.

"Morning," Carmen spoke, taking out the spoon in her mouth slowly, winking at Jackson before looking at Lydia.

"Did you see Allison last night? Not like you would've seen her during the week since you seem to have been avoiding us,"Lydia stated pursing her lips and narrowing her eyes at Carmen who just shrugged uncaringly. "Oops have I? Didn't even notice."

Lydia just rolled her eyes in response. "But you can make up for that by coming to the game on Friday night then coming out with us after."

Carmen sighed and reluctantly agreed which made a smile go onto the strawberry blondes face. "Perfect!"

Following that day, Carmen unexpectedly found herself sitting in the hospital waiting room alongside Lydia who wouldn't stop complaining about how Scott McCall, (the overnight lacrosse prodigy) slammed into Jackson and had injured his shoulder. "Here's a thought. Maybe if Jackson hadn't been such a little bitch to Scott this wouldn't have happened," Carmen remarked snarkily to Lydia who raised her eyebrows. "If Jackson is out for the rest of the season and we lose because of Scott I will personally make his life a living hell!" Lydia shrilled showing her anger towards the McCall boy for one-upping her boyfriend in lacrosse.

"This is the part where I zone you out," Carmen plugged in her headphones and played some music, not noticing the Stilinski boy standing over her as she continued to hang her head low.

"Hey, Carmen. You probably don't remember me. I uh found you in the preserve the other week but I bet many people find you passed out. So um, I sit behind you in Economics. Uh, anyway, I always thought that we just had this kind of connection. Unspoken, of course. Maybe it'd be kind of cool to, get to know each other a little better," Stiles spoke to the oblivious girl who then lifted her head to look at him and notice his existence.

"Huh?" She said taking out her headphones not hearing a word that he just said. Stiles' face fell as he realised she heard nothing of what he just spilt out from his heart. Puffing out his cheeks he just stared at her as she blankly stared back. "Well? Are you going to say something?" She asked impatiently annoyed with him just continuing to stare at her idly.

Stile's opened his mouth to speak but closed it again, shook his head and turned the corner hastily sitting down out of her sight. Carmen looked at him confused cocking her head as he walked away but laughed to herself finding it amusing and got up, rounded the corner to see him reading a pamphlet on the menstrual cycle. "Bad period cramps?" Carmen questioned a smirk playing on her lips as Stile's jumped startled at her voice. "What?" He stammered in shock.

Carmen pointed her finger at the pamphlet and Stile's realised what the pamphlet was about and was quick to throw it to the side and gave a flustered response. "That? No, just studying up on the female anatomy for uh-P.e class?"

"If you wanted to know all about the female anatomy you could've just asked." She smirked walking towards him, her eyes twinkling in amusement at the sight of his eyes widening excessively.

"Oh I-i um," He gulped. "I can be quite helpful in that department," She purred making him gulp once more. Carmen opened to mouth to make another suggestive comment but was interrupted by Scott's voice. "Lydia and Jackson are about to leave."

Carmen turned her head to face him. "Thanks, Scotty," She said with a tight irritated smile as her fun was ruined. She turned back and winked at Stiles who just nodded in reply his eyes still wide. "Seeya round Stiles," She said in a playful tone. "Scott," She smirked at the boy sending a wink his way and then walked off following after Lydia and Jackson.

Scott's eyes followed after her with furrowed brows, "Why was Carmen talking to you?"

"Headphones. Menstrual cycles. Her female anatomy," Stiles heaved out still shocked by the conversation he just had.

Scott cocked his head at his friend.

"Long story."

☹ ☹ ☹ ☹

The game was in full blast by the time Carmen arrived, the crowd was cheering for the Beacon Hills lacrosse team especially for Jackson who was the only player who was scoring the points.

Carmen shoved through the crowd in the bleachers to get to Lydia who she had been made to promise that she would come. She sat down and Lydia looked at her. "You're late!"

"Be glad that I came at all," Carmen scoffed looking out towards the field at the game and making eye contact with Stiles who sat on the bench and stared at her. She winked at him causing him to instantly look away blushing once he realised she had caught him staring.

"Dad this is Carmen. Carmen, this is my dad Chris," Allison introduced looking between the two. Chris looked at the young brunette with a smile and a nod. "Nice to meet you, Carmen." Carmen looked at him and hummed smirking, "Isn't it always?"

"Which one is Scott again?" Chris Argent questioned to the girls. "Number 11. Otherwise known as the only one who hasn't caught a single ball this entire game," Lydia quipped.

"I hope he's okay," Allison muttered into her hand. "I hope we're okay. We need to win this," Lydia spoke and reached down to grab the Jackson support sign and looked down at Allison. "Allison. A little help here?" Allison hesitated but then gave in and stood up helping Lydia hold the sign.

As the whistle was blown something seemed to have sparked within Scott because before the crowd and the team knew it he was sprinting down the field at an incredible pace, dodging the opposing team with agility and scoring a goal.

Carmen reached into her pocket and took out a lighter and cigarette, she placed it between her lips and lifted the lighter up before it was snatched away by Lydia who scowled at the girl who had a cigarette hanging out of her mouth. "Hey!" She exclaimed annoyed. "First of all, it's not good for you, second of all you can't do it at school!" Lydia scolded reaching forward and taking the cigarette from between her lips. "Okay mum," She spat at her rolling her eyes.

The crowd cheered as Scott continued to dominate, and during this Carmen decided to slip away from Lydia and Allison and go out by the field to stand on the sidelines, walking to where Stiles stood. "Scott. He's good," She said to Stile's who instantly stopped cheering and looked at Carmen in disbelief before going out of shock. "Yeah, I guess he is, unlike me."

"Some people just aren't good at some things," She replied back her eyes to Scott scoring another goal.

"It'd be nice though," Stile's muttered which she heard. Sighing Carmen turned back to the buzzcut boy. "I'll tell you what. You'll one day get your moment to shine just like Scott and when you do I'll come to another stupid game."

"What? You, will-what. Seriously?" Stiles stammered in shock. "A week ago you didn't know of my existence and now you're saying you'd come to another stupid game to watch me play?"

Carmen stared at him, a smirk playing on her lips. "You interest me Stilinski. And I plan to know why." She said as the buzzer went off signalling their win. "Congrats on the win," She winked then walked off disappearing into the crowd as they began to swarm the field disappearing from Stiles' sight as he stood there in disbelief getting pushed and shoved by the crowd.
