They decide to go the back way, which leads them to the back entrance of the gym.  The only problem?  They have to walk up a hill.

"Why did we go this way?", Normani whines when they're only about 1/4 of the way up.

"To avoid the huge mass of students that are all going to same way to the gym.  Look around you, we're alone.", Ally answers.

"I'm tired...carry me?", Normani asks, fluttering her eyelashes and wrapping an arm around Ally's neck.  Ally rolls her eyes, but still let's the girl hop onto her back, knowing it shouldn't be a problem since she has some pretty strong legs.  "Thank you Ally!"

They continue to walk up the hill in silence while they feel their muscles burning.  The hill keeps getting steeper, and steeper.  As they keep walking at their slow pace, a random person speeds right past them, and they all stop to watch him easily reach the top.

"Who the fuck was that?", Normani asks.

Dinah picks up a stick and throws it at her.  "Stop fucking swearing!"  Everyone started to laugh, but then they quickly stopped becasue they realize it took up a lot of their precious breath.

"Sorry not sorry.", Normani says, sticking her tongue out.

They finally reach the top, and Ally collapses onto the ground, sitting there and stretching out her muscles.  "Jeez Mani, lay off the junk food."

"LET'S PARTY!", Normani yells as she sprints ahead towards the gym.  They all just stand there, watching her disappear into the gym.

"Using you to get to the top of the hill, huh?  She better sleep with one eye open tonight.", Dinah says, knowing that Ally and Normani were roommates.

"More like this entire weekend.", Ally states.

Once inside, Dinah, Louis, and Normani go to talk to the DJ, who's their very good friend Jesy Nelson.  Ally walks off to join her theatre friends, leaving Camila and Lauren alone.

"Thanks for not ditching us guys.", Lauren mutters sarcastically, getting a chuckle out of the other girl.  "At least I've got you to hang out with."

"I don't really have anywhere else to go.  I don't know anyone besides you guys.", Camila says over the music that seems to have gotten louder.  "What do you usually do during these parties?"

"I usually just sit around, and I also start thinking about ideas for new short stories.", Lauren replies, offering a small chuckle.  "I'm pretty boring."

Before Camila can say anything back, a girl walks right up to Lauren.  "OH MY GOSH!  LAUREN JAUREGUI!  Oh my God, it's such a pleasure to meet you!"  The girl grabs Lauren's hand and starts to shake it, and continues to do so as she continues the conversation.  "Lindsey, nice to meet you!  I'm in LOVE with your work.  Your short stories are genius, and when the main character died in the last one, you had me sobbing."  She let's go of Lauren's hand, and gestures like she's wiping away a fake tear.

"Uhm, thanks.", Lauren says, a polite smile on her face.  "Thanks, I really appreciate it.  Glad people like my work."

"Everyone LOVES your work!", Lindsey says back.

"Yeah, I've heard that, but I don't really let it get to me.  I'm just thankful that I have so many people that appreciate what I work hard on."

"Oh my gosh, wait until my friends hear I met THE Lauren Jauregui!"  Lindesy wraps her arms around Lauren in a hug, then runs off.

Camila giggles, turning to look at the other girl with a raised eyebrow.  "Care to explain?"

"A lot of other writers like my work I guess."
