It's her first day.  Is it terrible?  Not exactly.  It's just that being in a school filled with nothing but a bunch of extremely talented people makes her feel a little out of place.  Having to board makes her feel even more alone, because she doesn't have the support and comfort of her family and friends.

At least her roommate is nice.  Scratch that.  She's more than nice...she's friendly.  Which is the only thing that makes her find a small beam of hope inside of her.

"Hi, I'm Dinah Jane.  I'm a music major.", is the first thing her roommate says to her.  "You must be Camila."  Camila Cabello.

"Yeah, that's me.  I'm a photography major."  She adds a slight chuckle to last part of her sentence, realizing how boring she must sound.

"Photography?!  That's so cool!  I don't know many photography majors because they're usually very quiet and shy, but now I know you!"  She's surprised that someone actually takes interest in her talent.  "Oh, and I should warn you.  Since I'm a music major, I usually deal with a lot of...you know...music.  Sorry in advance for all the noise."

"It's fine.  I like noise."

"Perfect.  We're going to get along just great."

And that was that.  A five minute conversation made her feel more than just another photograph in a photo album.  She felt like the picture on display for everyone to see.

"Jade, you're miscounting again.", Perrie says.  "You're going 1...2...twirl, but it's 1...2...3 then you twirl me."

"Sorry.", Jade apologizes.  She's always had a difficulty with counting.

"Jade, I know this is frustrating, but everything has to be perfect.  I wish we could just slack off and have fun, but the performance festival is coming up soon, and we have to make a good first impression."

"I know.  If I miscount again, just step on my foot.", Jade replies, making Perrie chuckle a bit.  Jade knows that Perrie is a perfectionist, and that's why they were partnered up.  Jade was more of an improv dancer, and Perrie had to have a clear routine in her head before dancing anything.  Their teacher merged their different styles, also knowing they'd work well together because they both previously went to all girl schools...and now they're the best dance partners on campus.

"WHAT UP LOSERS?!"  Dinah barges into the dance studio, holding up a CD.  "Look what I made!"

"What is that?", Jade asks, walking up to her friend.  She takes the CD from Dinah's hand, and observes it like a child looking at a new toy for the first time.

"That is the song that I need you guys to dance to.  Kordei  and I worked on it all week, and we need a way to promote it.", Dinah explains, more towards Perrie.  She knows that Jade will go along with anything, but Perrie is the one that get's the final decision.

"We already picked a song.  We can't change the entire routine just to match your song.  We don't have enough time, D.", Perrie replies apologetically.

The taller girl grabs Jade by her shoulders, moving her in front of her.  "This is why you have Jadey!  She can easily create a new routine to music she hasn't heard before.  She can make a draft, and you can edit it into a final rountine."

"It's not a bad idea.", Jade adds.

"You guys know how I edit.  I don't think we're going to have enough time.", Perrie says as she crosses her arms over her chest.

"Please Pez?  I promised Louis that I'd help us get this promotion.", Dinah pleads, dropping to her knees.

"What is with you two and these never ending favors for each other?"
