* Kaycies POV *
I wake up to a snoring Payton. He is so cute. He is laying on his side with his arms wrapped around my waist. He looks so perfect.... until he isn't. He is going to change. Everyone does... he is going to leave me like the rest. That's why Grayson is over protective. Ethan doesn't act the same way Grayson does. I am just emotionally unstable at the moment. I mean, I am 17 and pregnant. That is a lot of responsibility.. I'm still in high school. I feel dizzy, I've only felt like this once. The room starts spinning. So I do what I think is best before it happens. I punch Payton's arm as hard as my body lets me as I reach for the 'press for help' button. Before I know it my eyes roll into the back of my head as the darkness consumes me.
* Payton's POV *
I wake up to being hit. Why was I hit? My eyes flutter open as I see my love fade into a seizure.
" SHIT. Baby, oh god." I yell as I roll her over on her side.
I press the call help button beside the bed repeatedly. Next thing I know a bunch of annoyed looking nurses rush into the room and see us. There expressions drop as One if them rushes to a cabinet and pulled out a medicine bottle and a needle. They inject the needle into Kaycies leg as I'm being dragged out of the room.
" sir, I get you're worried about your girlfriend. But I'm afraid you can't go back into the room until further notice. Please understand..." a nurse says slowly as she gives me an apologetic smile.
" m'am. That is my love, who happens to be carrying my child! I'm sorry but I don't think she needs to be alone right now!" I say a little too loudly
" sir. You need to calm down. " a male nurse says as he steps out of the room
" You don't get to tell me to calm down. The two most important things in my life are in THAT room ALONE. Also, I don't feel comfortable with male nurses helping Kaycie!" I yell as I get in his face
" Sir, backup before I have you removed." He calmly says as I get closer to him
" STOP TELLING ME TO CALM DOWN!" I yell as I push him
He pushes me back. I go to swing but I get dragged away before I can. I gonna kick that guys ass.
" Payton. Calm down, please." The voice says as I get put down
" I over reacted. I know." I groan as I turn around and face him
" listen, she is my sister. My responsibility. Now she is also yours. Along with my niece or nephew. You have to stay calm for her. I'm trying not to kick your ass at the moment so please don't have an attitude. " Grayson says as I sigh
" I'm sorry... I never meant for this to happen. I know it looks bad. It looks like I just knocked up Kaycie and I'm going to leave her. But I'm not. I really do love her. More than you know. And our child is only giving me something more to love." I say as I sit down in a chair
" you really do love her don't you...." Grayson says as he sits beside me
" I really do.."
" then I will let you and my sister be together. But the first time you hurt her I will come to your house and kick your ass." Grayson says as he closes his eyes and lays back in the chair
" really?! Are you serious?! You accept us?!?! Omg! Gray! Thank you! So much!" I say excitedly
" ughhhhh Paytonnnn! Hush. I haven't slept in awhile and I need it. Only wake me up if it involves Kaycie, actually. Only wake me up if it is good news." He says as he closes his eyes again
" okay. Will do." I say as I too shut my eyes and drift asleep
* Kaycies POV *
I hear a sound. A voice. I can't open my eyes or move.
" Kaycie, hello. We gave you some anesthesia earlier to help. I'm afraid I'm going to have to prescribe you anxiety pills.... the anxiety is causing you to go into a panic attack which quickly turns into a seizure." The doctor says to me
" d-doc. Is my baby okay?" I mumble
" doing just fine. But... the father of your child isn't doing so well. Honestly he is one of the worst I have seen to react to just about anything this hospital has dealt with... he almost attacked a nurse yesterday. He cares about you, he even requested that no male nurses enter the room unless he is here too." The doctor says quickly
" why is it hard for me to move my body?" I ask him slowly
" the nurse... she gave you a little more than needed. Causing your body to react this way. It will go away soon." He says as he leaves me there alone.
