They/you hurt them/you by accident *Part 1*

Edward- *His POV* (Y/N) and I were walking around the forest, going to the meadow that I had found when hunting. I had offered to carry (y/n) on my back as it was bumpy and there were lots of roots coming from out of the ground, but she declined. We were about to get the meadow when (y/n) tripped over. She let out a yelp as she fell, and I quickly grabbed her arm to prevent her from falling to the ground. As I did so, she hissed in pain and stumbled, getting to her feet again. Letting go of her wrist, I glanced down, noticing that a bruise was already forming.

"Oh, no," I exclaimed, looking at her apologetically. "I am so sorry, I didn't mean it."

"No, no. Its fine Edward, you were just trying to help me." She said, gently rubbing her wrist, looking up at me into my eyes.

"Still, I am sorry." I carried on apologizing as we walked, feeling guilty but knowing that she didn't blame me.

Bella- *Your POV* Being a vampire, you were quiet, sometimes too quiet. This may be a good thing for you, but for someone who is clumsy, it wasn't good for Bella. You had a tendency to sneak up on Bella without realising it, forgetting how quiet you can be. At this moment in time, you were in Bella's room as she sat reading a book. Going over to her, you didn't realise she was on the end of the bed. Placing your arms around her, she screamed whilst falling off the bed. Immediately, you sat her up, apologizing repeatedly.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry, are you okay?" You asked, sitting by her, checking over her to make sure that she was okay. As she stood up, you noticed that she was limping. Putting her down on the bed, you lifted her foot up onto your leg, seeing that it was slightly swollen. Putting your ice-cold hand on her ankle, you heard her breathe a sigh of relief.

"Oh, thank you." She said, looking at you, immediately noticing that you were feeling guilty. "It's fine, don't worry. It's not your fault."
"But it is my fault," You said, keeping your hand on her ankle. "I was the one who made you fall."

"Look," Bella said, looking into your eyes. "It wasn't the first time I've fell over and it definitely won't be the last."

"Ok, I still am sorry." You apologized again, before picking a movie to watch with her whilst you soothed her angle.

Carlisle- *His POV* It was no news that (y/n) was clumsy and that she tended to rush into things without realising it. However, I never thought that I might be the reason she hurt herself one day. As usual, I visited her house after I finished work. She was making herself some dinner when I knocked on her door. I smelt her getting closer and when she opened the door I noticed she was in an apron with a (f/c) dress underneath.

"Hello love." I said, leaning down to give her a kiss.

"Hello dear." She replied, kissing me back before letting me inside.

Walking to the kitchen, I sat on one of the chairs by the counter as she continued cooking. She was making a salad when she took out a rather large knife. Why she chose a knife as large as that one I don't know but she did anyway. Whilst she was cutting up the lettuce, I walked up behind her, making sure to walk heavily to make sure that she knew I was behind her. I wrapped my arms around her waist, to which she still jumped at. When she jumped, I could smell that she had cut herself with the knife, the fact that she gave out a small scream also told me that fact. Quickly moving her to the bathroom, I cleaned out the wound, which was relatively small, before getting a plaster and placing it on it, giving it a kiss whilst there.

"I'm sorry love, I didn't mean to startle you." I said as we left the bathroom.

"No, don't apologise, it wasn't your fault. I knew you were behind me, but I still jumped." She replied, leaning up to give me a kiss on the cheek, making sur that I knew it wasn't my fault. Although this did make me feel better, I still felt slightly guilty.

Esme- *Your POV* You and Esme were hunting when the incident happened. It wasn't serious, considering that it took a lot to hurt a vampire, but it was an incident nether the less. When you and Esme finished hunting, you would typically mess around a bit, chasing each other or having competitions. This time was no different. You were having a competition to see who could climb up a tree the fastest. Starting to climb, you were a bit behind Esme as she started to climb higher. Higher and higher you both went until you had reached the top.

"Fine, you win." You had said when you reached the peak, it was obvious that Esme had won.

"Told you I would win." She said, looking over the vast forest. "It's beautiful here."

"Sure is, and so are you." You said, leaning towards her. As you did, you didn't realise that the branch Esme was stood on was snapping. Before you could give her a kiss, the branch collapsed, taking Esme with it.

"Esme." you shouted, already speeding down to try and catch her as she screamed.

Unfortunately, you didn't make it in time. When you got down to the ground, you started to frequently check her body, making sure that all her limbs were still on. Luckily, they all were, and she didn't seem to have any major injuries.

"I'm okay, I'm okay," She said, already on her feet again. "Just a few twigs and leaves in my hair."

"Oh, thank god." You said, helping her to remove everything from her hair before you both started you journey back to the house.
