Character Catch Up- Leah Clearwater *Part 1*

How you meet- *Her POV*- Grr, stupid Sam, stupid Emily, stupid imprinting. Why am I being punished for nothing? Sam and Emily are being lovey-dovey and as soon as I show any dislike, the pack gang up on me. Why can't you be happy for them? He couldn't control it. Uh, I wish they would just leave me be. It's not that I haven't got over him because I have, its just that it still hurts to see them so happy. Walking across the beach, I walked through the water and looked around, seeing only one person sitting down. From what I could see, it was a girl with (h/l) (h/c) who had her face in her knees, her shoulders shaking. Normally I couldn't care less about someone crying but I was drawn to her for some reason. Walking over, I sat down next to her and spoke up. 

"Hey," I gently said, not wanting to scare her. "Are you okay?" 

"No," She sniffed, not looking up as she tried to dry her eyes. "Why do you care?" 

"I don't know." I said, looking out towards the sea, before looking at her again. "What's wrong?" 

"My boyfriend cheated on me with my old best friend and is in a relationship with her now. It's like he never cared how I would feel." She said, making me realise that her story was similar to mine, minus the imprinting and giant shapeshifting wolves. 

"That's happened to me as well, its not the best experience." I said, making her look up. As she did, her beautiful (e/c) eyes came in contact with mine. I stared at her as images flashed across my mind, out first date, our wedding day... our entire life together. 

"Really? How did you get over it?" She asked, making me snap out of my daze. 

"I haven't really, but I'm starting to." I said, looking her in the eyes, still not comprehending that I had imprinted. "I'm Leah." 

"I'm (y/n)." She said, holding her hand out as I shook it. "It's nice to meet you, even in unfortunate circumstances."

"It's nice to meet you too." I replied, a smile forming on my face. 

She realises she has feelings for you- I've been a lot happier since meeting (y/n). We've been hanging out for a few weeks and they have been the most happiest weeks I've had. We get along better than me and Sam ever did and she makes me happier than he did, even though we were just friends. The pack had noticed my change in mood and still haven't found out about me imprinting because I have been extra cautious. I know I'm falling for (y/n) fast but I don't care, I will always be there for her, as a sister, a best-friend or a lover. 

You realise you have feelings for her- You and Leah have been hanging out for a few weeks and your heart has been mended. Leah has been keeping you company and she has been comforting you when your ex bothered you. She had told you her history with her ex and her cousin and you told her the whole story of your love life. She always made sure that you were okay and that your were safe at home. You knew you were falling for her, you just didn't know that she felt the same.

She asks you out- *Your POV*- It's been a few months since you have met Leah and she had been keeping you company. You had both been hanging out at the beach or at either of your houses, just talking or watching a movie. You had met her brother Seth and he was adorable. He seemed to really like you and would often ask how you were or if you wanted to hang out with him and Leah. That is what you were doing, hanging out at you house with Seth and Leah, watching some TV. All of you had been hanging out for a couple of hours, talking about things and deciding what to do the next time you hung out. After the few hours, Seth got up and informed you that he had to leave. He gave you a hug and bid both you and Leah farewell before letting himself out. An awkward silence descended on you and Leah as you both sat on the sofa. A minute of so of sitting in silence, Leah cleared her throat causing you to look at her. 

"I want to ask you something?" She said, a blush apparent on her cheeks. You looked at her in confusion as she has never acted like that, at least not to your knowledge. 

"Okay. You can ask me anything, you know that." You said, turning to her and grabbing her hands to try and calm her down as she looked in your eyes.

"Will you go on a date with me?" She questioned, causing you to gasp and look at her with wide eyes. After a moment of so, her eyes lowered and she tried to free her hands from you grasp but you held on. 

"Yes, I will go on a date with you." You said, causing her to let out a breath of air before leaning forward and hugging you and you smiled into her shoulder. You had a date to look forward to. 

First date/first kiss- *Her POV*- After asking (y/n) on a date, I started thinking about where to take her. I didn't want to take her to the beach because I know that is where a lot off couples go on dates. Once I thought of a couple of good ideas, I decided to take her to a small restaurant that was on the outskirts of La Push. I decided to have out date their because it was a nice, romantic restaurant with good food and service. That and I knew none of the pack would go there. I had texted (y/n) to get ready for 7:00pm as I got ready myself. I decided to wear a pair of tight black jeans with a white top which had no sleeves but was kept up by wrapping around my neck. I paired a pair of ankle converse with them, keeping some of my tom boy appeal. Checking the time, I had 30 minutes before I had to pick (y/n) up. Knowing that it didn't take long to get to her house in my car, I sat down and put on a small amount of makeup before going onto my phone for a bit. After 10 minutes, I decided to set off. Walking down the stairs, I walked into the kitchen to let Seth and my mum know that I was leaving. 

"Hey guys, I'm leaving know." I said as I walked in, making them both turn to me. "I shouldn't be back too late." 

"You look beautiful, sweetie. Have a good time." Sue said as she gave me a hug and kiss on the cheek. 

"Say hi to (y/n) for me." Seth shouted as I left, heading towards my car.

Getting in, I made the journey to (y/n)'s house which was only 10 minutes. Pulling up to her house, I got out and walked up to her door, knocking lightly. Hearing movement from the other side, I leant back a bit as the door opened. Wow, she looked beautiful. She was wearing a (f/c) dress with a cardigan, paired with a pair of sandals. 

"You look breathtaking." I said, causing her cheeks to turn a vibrant red. 

"Thank you, you look gorgeous." She said, this time making me blush. Smiling at her, I guided her to my car and opened the door for her. 

"Thank you." She said as I shut the door. Walking over to the drivers side, I got in and sped off towards the restaurant. Since it wasn't that far away, it only took about 15 minutes to get there. Once we arrived, we walked into the restaurant and I asked for out reservation. Getting guided to out table, we both sat down and looked at the menu. A waiter came over to us and asked up what we wanted to drink. I ordered a diet coke whilst (y/n) ordered a (f/d). As we sat there drinking our drinks, we made some small talk as we waited to order our meals. After a few moments, the same waiter returned and asked us what we wanted to eat. I ordered a steak with some chips and (y/n) ordered (f/f). We only had to wait about 15 minutes before our meals arrived but neither of us noticed, to immersed in our conversation. (Y/n) thanked the waiter and dug into her food as I did the same. We continued our conversation between bites. I learnt quite a bit about (y/n) through our conversation, as she did with me. 

"So, you really screamed at Sam in front of everyone, including his family." (Y/n) giggled as she took a sip of her drink. 

"Yep," I said, laughing as I remembered everyone's faces. "He couldn't look any of them in the eye for weeks especially his mothers."
We exchanged a few more stories before getting up. Both of us walked over to my car and got in, before I made my way back to her house. As we got there, I got out and guided her to her front door. 

"I had a really good time." She said, looking at me with a blush on her cheeks.

"Me too," I said, rubbing the back of my neck. "Actually, I was wondering if you wanted to go on another date sometime?" 

"I would love too." She said, before going on her tiptoes and placing our lips together. I froze for a split second before wrapping my arms around her waist and kissing her back. We kissed for a few moments before she leant back, her eyes still closed. 

"Good night." She whispered as she gave me a smile, going into her house and closing the door behind her. 

"Wow, best date ever." I whispered to myself before going over to my car and heading home.
