How you meet- *Her POV*- The Volturi has had a recent report about a rogue vampire hunting humans in large numbers, making the disappearance's noticeable. Humans from the area have started speculating and are on the hunt for the individual who is making these people disappear. Whilst they obviously don't know it's a vampire, if they catch them and we get found out it would cause us a lot of trouble. Aro has sent me, Alec and Felix to find the vampire and bring them back to the castle for a... conversation. It took us about a day to get to the location and we started searching as soon as night fell. Splitting up from my brother, I climbed up to a vantage point. Looking around, I spotted a shadow turning a corner at supernatural speed. I quickly ran after the shadow, my footsteps silent as I did so. As I got closer to the shadow, an intoxicating scent entered my senses. The scent made me run faster, following it until I caught up with the shadow. They had cornered themselves in a place even a vampire couldn't get out of without causing a scene.

"Hello." I spoke, making them turn to look at me. Their eyes widen as they saw the crest on my chest. Taking in their appearance, I smiled slightly before becoming stoic again. "You've been causing quite a fuss."

"I-I didn't mean to." They said, shaking slightly and cowering against the wall. "I couldn't help myself. Please don't kill me."

I tilted my head slightly and held my hand out to them, causing them to flinch slightly. "Just come with me. I will protect you and help you get better control."

Still shaking, they gripped my hand and followed me as I grouped back with Felix and Alec before heading back to the castle.

She realises she likes you- *Your POV*- You were prepared to die when Jane took you back to Volturi castle. However, she had a conversation with the king which you couldn't hear and he let you go, if you became one of his guard. Immediately you agreed, wanting to live and get stronger. You were also curious about Jane and why she smelled so heavenly (how ironic). Everyday you would train with the other guards and spend a large amount of time in the library, still feeling slightly afraid of those around you. However, you gradually came out of your shell, spending more time with Alec, Jane and Demetri. They made you feel welcome and always acted differently when in private, making you realise that they did have feelings and personalities outside of the Volturi. You and Jane spent the most time together as she was teaching you how to hunt affectively and unnoticed as well as the laws all vampires had to follow. When you weren't training together, you would spend time walking around the corridors, talking about your pasts and how you became vampires. You loved hearing about her life with Alec before turning but it made you upset knowing people tried to kill them. You spoke about your own past, your family and your hardships. She would always listen intently and she never interrupted you, instead she gazed at you. Not that you noticed. She loved you but you didn't know yet, but you would soon.

She asks you out- *Her POV*- It has been half a year since (y/n) has joined us and I have never been happier. I can't help but smile more when I'm around them and I have become less mean, only to them though. Alec has noticed the difference in me and told me that he was happy about it. I have been plucking up the courage to ask them out as well as tell her about us being mates, but that could wait until after they answers. We didn't have training today so I decided to take them to a balcony that was rarely used. It stood over the town below and showed the gardens around the castle. I took them their when it was sunset, the balcony being hidden enough to hide our sparkling skin. As we stood next to each other, I looked over to them. Their eyes were wide as they took in the view, an unneeded sigh escaping their lips.

"There's a reason I brought you up here, you know?" I said, their attention shifting to me. Tilting their head slightly, they questioned why.

"Why? Is something wrong?" They asked, making me giggle slightly. They had a tendency of thinking the worst has happened.
