Selina and I stayed up the whole night, talking and thinking about this. I never even knew that clones existed, so I was just in complete shock at the moment.

The next morning was a Saturday morning. Monse and I woke up early in the morning before my parents had even woken up. We needed to... do some research about this. Perhaps other people have also had an experience like this.

"We should go to the library to research about this!" I exclaimed to Monse, smiling about my good idea. "They always go to the library for stuff like this in movies!"

Monse chuckled and said,"Good idea, Ailea!"

After dressing into our day outfits, we quietly snuck out of my house, making sure to not wake my parents up.

"Are you sure your parents are going to be happy about this?" Monse asked me as we walked on the sidewalk, on our way to the library. "They are probably starting to notice that you've been going out a lot on your own lately, Ailea."

I rolled my eyes and said,"Selina, why does that even matter to you? I honestly doubt they even care! They have other problems to worry about besides me, Monse."

"Okay, Okay, chiiiilll, girl!" she exclaimed to me.

"Anyways, do you even know where the library is?" I said, gazing to my best friend who seemed to be clueless about where we were going.

"I mean, I know where it is and all, I just don't know how to go there from your house..." she replied and we stopped walking.

"Umm, how the hell are we supposed to get there then?" I said, face palming because of my stupid friend.

"Hey, kid, don't cuss or you're you'll be going to hell!" some random man said, who was driving by in a old fashioned car with his window open, smoking a pipe.

"How's he going to tell us we're going to go to hell when he's smoking?" I said and we both laughed.

"Did you bring your phone at least so we can see the directions there?" Monse asked me and I rolled my eyes.

"I told you it died and I had to charge it, Selina!" I exclaimed. This girl really knew how to get under my skin. "I swear to god if you didn't bring yours I will fucking beat you up!"

She laughed and said,"Just kidding! I been playing with you all along, Ailea. I know how to get to the library, let's go girl!"

I rolled my eyes and replied with attitude,"You better..."

Soon, we arrived at the library and for s moment we just stood outside of it, staring at the building. It felt like we were in a movie so it was just perfect. Then, ruining the moment, we finally entered the library. There were shelves of books everywhere to both sides, and the counter with the librarian was at the front of us. I watched her scan an old lady's book after she received the woman's card. And that's when I realized...

"Um, Monse..." I said slowly, tapping her shoulder, still in shock as I stared at what was happening at the counter. "We forgot our library cards..."

She chuckled and said,"Stupid Ailea, we don't need that to go on the computer!"

I rolled my eyes and said,"Yes you do! When I went on it last time, you needed the numbers from your card in order to go on it! Wait, never mind. Let's just read books here, but we don't need to borrow them."

"Smart cookie, let's go!" she exclaimed and we started walking over to where most of the books were located.

Each shelves space were separated into different categories. I saw a section that was labeled supernatural, and although our case wasn't exactly supernatural, that was the closest we could get.

We headed over there and surfed through all the books there. We had no luck until I found a book titled "Unreal or Real: Clones." My face lit up as I read the book name. I went to one of the round tables and motioned for Monse to come here, too.

"I found the perfect book for us, Monse!" I exclaimed happily to her and she looked at it and sat down.

"Great!" she exclaimed and stood up from her chair. "But we can't read the same book at once, so I'll go see if there is another one about that topic."

I nodded and opened the thick book about clones. The first half of the book was facts about how clones might be real, and the second half of the book was facts about why they may not be real. I started reading and got startled by the first page:

Clones are real, Ailea, you're not going to find what you want, you and your little friend Selina have evil clones of each other, and have the ability to trick you two easily. So do you know who you're with? How do you not know that the girl you're with at the library might be her clone? Good luck "researching" about clones. With all the books based on it, you don't have much, or any, luck at all, girls.

I gasped and dropped the book on the table, which made a very loud noise and I noticed that everyone in the whole library, including Monse, was staring at me right now. But besides that, the evil clone was probably trying to mess with my head right now, and I won't let that happen...

The librarian left the counter and walked over to my urgently. "Why are you making, uh, noise? That is too loud! Leave or be silent!"

     I sighed and said,"Sorry, ma'am."

Monse came to me with a stack of books in her hands. "What was that all about?"

"We're leaving, Selina." I told her and she followed me, really confused, still holding her books. But she knew I meant business when I said her real name.

"What? Why?!" she said, putting the books down as we felt the cold air outside when we got out.

We stopped walking, when we were on the sidewalk, to talk. I had a bad feeling in the back of my mind about the girl I was with right now. Because of the book, I'd just previously read a page of, I had a slight shiver when I thought about it. The girl who I thought was my best friend, just might be evil. Might. Be. EVIL!

"Um, it's just that we won't find anything about this in that library." I lied to her. I didn't know if I should tell her about it, and knowing my friend, if I told her this, she'd either go crazy, or think that I've gone crazy.

"Oh, Ailea, I know you're lying, tell me the truth!" she exclaimed, rocking my shoulders, trying to get me awake although I already was.

"It's not important, okay!" I exclaimed back to her.

In the corner of my mind, I knew that lying to her about this, was a really bad decision, but I also thought about how it'd be if I told her about it. That wouldn't be exactly great either.
