With the practically the whole team gone, I found myself with too much team and nothing to do but hang around with Banner. I picked up a few things, but soon I found myself lost. I need a lot of background knowledge, that I didn't have.

Bruce, having sensed my boredom, told me to go out and stop some bad guys. I had laughed and agreed, and skipped out into town in my Pyra costume. The women who created my costume added in  heating technology, therefore I was always warm enough.

I got a few waves, and a couple people said hi, but otherwise there wasn't much to do. There was a strange lack of crime in Manhatten today.

I pulled myself onto the room, and jogged around for a bit. Now that I had vanished, I hoped a couple of bad guys would get it into their heads to try and rob a store.

Turns out, I didn't have to wait long. After my watchful eyes had "disappeared" a large man had decided to rob a bank.

As I walked in, the man turned. I studied the situation. The man had a gun, and a hidden knife strapped to his belt. The gun wavered from the cashier to me.

"Listen, lady. Let me free and no one gets shot with this," he stated, waving his gun. I shook my head in disappointment.

"Oh, but men like you should not be roaming around the streets. So, you won't be getting out of here," I explained, still shaking my head.

I stepped forward, and the man pulled the trigger. The world slowed down, and the bullet travelled straight into my lung.

Next thing I knew, I was standing above him with a paw- yes a paw, I'm a panther by now -dripping blood on his face.

"Please don't kill me! I have a wife and a child on the way!" he said, throwing the gun across the room.

"You have made me very angry. However, I will spare your life. Stand up, hands behind your back. Try anything, and I will have to make your day just as painful as mine," I snarled. He nodded and stood up, leaning against the wall with his hands behind his back. I shifted back into a human, blood staining my suit.

I wrapped a pair of zip-tie cuffs around his wrists, and waited for the police, who arrived minutes later. They thanked me for my services, and dismissed me.

My feet took me towards the Helicarrier, and I began feeling weaker and weaker as I walked. It was unsafe to pass out here, so I just kept walking and hoped my body could make it there.

Last thing I remember? Walking onto the ramp of the Helicarrier and dropping to my knees, then it went black.

Once again, I was back in my old hospital bed. I could feel tight bandages wrapped around my upper body.

"Oh yes. I got shot," I told myself, sitting up. The wound, with my new abilities, was nearly closed by now. I picked out the stitches and stood, changing into my clothes which were once again on the chair next to me.

Once dressed, I walked out of the room and glanced around, wondering if Steve, Tony, Clint, and Natasha were back yet.

I made my way towards the lab, where I figured Bruce would be. Thankfully, he was there.

"I see you've woken up," Bruce said, not looking up from his work. I nodded.

"How long was I out?" I asked. He shrugged.

"A couple of hours maybe,"

"Are the others back yet?" I continued.

"No," he said, confirming my thoughts.

"OK. What are you working on?"

"Nothing, actually. I just finished a project," he replied.

"Alright. You wanna come into town with me then?" I really decided I need to know my team better, as I'd already spent so much time with Steve, Tony, and Natasha. Clint wasn't here, so Bruce was the lucky winner.

"Sure," Banner stood up, and I suddenly realized he was actually really tall. I chuckled in my head.

"So where would you want to go?" I questioned.

"Would you be ok with going to a car show? I was going to go, but I never got around to it," he said.

I shrugged. "Sure, I'd be fine with that," I answered. He nodded and lead the way out of the door, me trailing behind. Wow, my life was boring without those two.

Sorry. To be honest, I feel like this chapter sucked. I put little to no effort into it. I swear, I will go back and look at it later, fix it up a bit.
