This is really weird now. Seattle is getting crowded now, and a lot of people are moving in here. On the news they talked about something called a "plague" that was taking over PEI. That's also where the zombie was! There is also talk spreading around of a division of the government called "Scorpion 5", which they said became public recently but had been classified for a while.
Dad says that our soldiers and the Canadians are fighting the bad guys to help them because the virus is making them act weird. When I asked him who was winning, he paused and told me that we were.
A lot of soldiers are on the streets everyday, and there are even tanks on the highways now! Mr. Green says it's just because they need to protect us. Protect us from what? Why do they keep hiding things from us kids?
Also, on the news they started talking about some recently famous reporter found dead, but Dad turned off the TV before I could watch the rest.
Whatever. On Wednesday, I'm going to sneak in that farm and find out the truth.
