dramas i hate

at the moment i have completed 136 dramas and most of them were good since i'm not too picky about what i watch

still, there were a few dramas that i absolutely hated

either so much that i couldn't even bring myself to fonish it

or then i hated the drama - especially some characters in it - but still liked it enough to get to finish it

so this is more of a "do not watch this" list XD

or watch if you want to challenge yourself and prove me wrong

here we go:

1. Goodbye to Goodbye

i have never disliked a drama as much as this one, i couldn't get past ep 6 because i just didn't understand the female characters' logic.

i was very determined to watch this because jun was the main lead but i just couldn't continue watching it knowing they were going to end up with a happy ending when they had 0 chemistry since the beginning.

many people love this drama because of the topic it was about but... i get the "her body her choice" thing but she legit ran away with a random woman to "decide what she wanted to do with the baby" and left her father and the father of the baby behind, completely ignoring them and literally hiding from them

she was like barely adult, yet she just runs away with a woman she doesn't know and gets mad at her dad for worrying about her???

(also wasn't it "im on the pill" situation anyways? thats almost just as bad as if the guy took his condom off)

2. Star of the Universe

ugly romantisation (idk how to spell that sry) of sasaengs. i managed to watch 3 episodes and i tried to endure it for suho since this was a short one but i just hated it.

maybe i just had a bad season and if i tried again i would be able to watch it and maybe even like it... but back when i watched it the female lead was so damn irritating i just couldn't get myself to watch it.

3. Thirty But Seventeen

i love yang sejonw but why does he keep doing boring dramas... there was nothing wrong with the characters, they just had 0 chemistry.

also wished they would have kept up that social anxiety thing better and.... made him less weird.

4. Orange Marmalade

i dropped this for almost a year but then decided to pick it up again and finish it. it seemed promising for the first few episodes but then it just went too strange with all the historical ish and all...

also if jonghyun had been it for longer i would have liked it more. webtoon adapted dramas are often weird and feel rushed and never do justice to the original work.

5. Missing 9

wasn't sure which section to put this in because it wasn't that bad of a drama but at the same time i absolutely hated it. i have never seen evil characters like this, i felt like going into the drama and slapping them in the face myself.

i wished they would have stayed at the island for longer... i wanted to see friendship and them surviving at the island while supporting and helping each other, not the bullshit this drama was.

i hate corruption in dramas so much, why is it such a popular topic... most dramas would be so much better without the villains who get everything they want with money.

6. Save Me

biggest 'wtf' experience i have ever gotten. and they're making a second season to this trash!? pt.6 of "i just hated the characters so much"

also i really don't like seo yeji which also made this drama harder to watch. good thing there was angsty bromance at least because that's what i live for.

7. Shopping King Louie

this drama wasn't bad at all at first, even though i felt like i was slow to watch it. i didn't like the main characters too much, though there wasn't much that was annoying about them.

no one likes amnesia in dramas amirite so when (spoiler alert) he had just gained back his memory and then lost it again!! i just immediately said "im
out" and deleted it from my watch list

GOOD dramas but with characters i DESPISED

1. Love Returns

such an adorable drama!! but the evil characters made me want to stop watching this and i almost kept a break at one point.

there were like 3-4 characters that... just... i fukking hated them so much. just seeing their faces made me yell. i have never been that invested in hating someone as during this drama.

if you can get through the whole 120 episodes without throwing your laptop out the window, you deserve an award. but its definitely worth it.

much cute. wish i could watch this again but its so long XDD
