3rd Person POV

"Hurry up slow poke!"

Brenda was taking so long, Anabell knew the younger was just scared, but Brenda wouldn't say it. Anabell understood though, she's six and Anabell is seven, she's still a baby! Anabell could see Brenda still adjusting to the feel of training wear, she wasn't exactly comfortable yet, so the poor child struggled to run, while Anabell already was used to the feeling.

"Annie I don't we're supposed to be here!" Brenda ran slowly behind her.

"Nobody will know!"

They ran farther into the forest, finally they reached a fence, Anabell looked at Brenda expectantly, she frowned but made a staircase of rocks, then did the same on the other side.

The duo walked up then down the stairs, on the other side there was a huge field filled with flowers, trees, streams, and a huge field of open land. Anabell ran ahead of Brenda, both girls laughed and joked, until Brenda lost her footing falling face first into a pile of dirt, Anabell laughed, but helped her friend, then immediately ran insisting on another race.

"Come on slow poke! I bet a turtle is faster than you!"

"Then race a turtle!" Brenda huffed, Sounding defeated.

Then, Brenda stopped moving, her smile gone, replaced with fear. Brenda was looking past her friend, to see a figure hiding in the shadows, the only visible thing was the piercing red eyes. Anabell felt the strangers presence, she immediately went into a protective state of Mind, she wanted nothing bad to happen to her young friend. But Brenda had other ideas.

"It's okay, she won't hurt you." Brenda says soothingly.

Anabell looked at her friend in shock as the younger walked towards this dark figure. Brenda reached her hand out, and smiled sweetly at this stranger, Anabell ran to Brenda's side, ready to strike.

Then, a small wolf, brown infused with black as his fur, red eyes fading into a dazzling hazel. The wolf let Brenda pet him, she smiled and happily did so.

Anabell couldn't help but laugh, since meeting the small girl, Anabell has realized that she defiantly saw the good in people, literally.

Anabell's father is a council men, and Brenda's mother is direct blood line from the elders, even the day these two were born it was undeniable that they would be powerful, one day Anabell would be head of the council, and Brenda a high ranked watcher. Though they only met because their parents have a somewhat friendly relationship, the two immediately became friends, becoming inseparable.

"See? No bad." Brenda told the little pup. "She's really not that scary, you can come out."

"B, who are you talking too? That's a dog"

Brenda shook her head, disagreeing, she looked at the small pup one last time before backing away and pushing the elder with her. Anabell nearly choked when she realized that the little wolf, wasn't even a wolf, but a little boy, the boy slowly returned to his human form, showing that he couldn't be older then the age of eight, he had black hair, and was incredibly tanned for a child. The boy smiled at the two little girls, he sat on the floor fiddling with his training suit that resembled Brenda and Anabell's.

"Hi" the small boy finally spoke, eyes locked with Anabell's.

"Hi" Anabell replied, she didn't understand why she felt such a strong connection with this stranger.

Brenda giggled, which broke the two from their trance.

"You guys L-I-K-E each other!" Brenda sang and danced in place.
