3rd person POV

"Get back here you fag!"

Niall ran as fast as he could, since coming out, Niall has had his problems with bullies, but Liam has always been there to protect him, but the one day Liam had to stay home because he was horribly ill, a group of no brained jocks decided to follow Niall home. Niall though, was actually on his way to see Liam, but when he realized he was being followed, he ran. Niall ran down Liam's neighborhood, he could hear the footsteps of the boys chasing him. Niall ran to the end of the street, construction, Niall was screwed. He turned around to see the boys smile at him, and slowly approach him.

"Where ya going? We just want to talk!" One boy approached Niall.

"Just, leave me alone!"

"No one here to save you faggot, where's your friend huh? Got tired of you?"

"No! He's sick you arse!" Niall shouted

"What? You think your a bad ass?" One of the boys shoved Niall to the ground, Niall wouldn't let them say anything bad about Liam. Ever.

"Fuck off. You can mess with me, but don't talk about him like that."

The boys glanced at each other and smiled.

"Looks like the gays got a crush, huh boys? Maybe we should show him, let's show him that he's nothing." The same boy from earlier spoke, he lifted Niall off the ground, gripped him by the collar and raised him in the air. Niall closed his eyes and waited for the impact of a fist.

"THE FUCK IS THIS" Niall heard a familiar voice yell, a voice that usually doesn't curse.

Niall opened his eyes to see an angry Brenda, she was carrying grocery bags, her jaw clenched tightly.

"Put. Him. Down." Brenda's yelled, voice dripping with venom.

"Or what?" One spat.

Brenda put down the bags, and quickly strived towards the group, she stood face to face with one of the boys, he smiled and laughed at her, then tried to turn away, Brenda pulled him back by the shoulders and her fist connected with his jaw, causing him to collapse, he was unconscious, Brenda then ran to another boy, hitting him in his lower abdomen, then uppercut him. Finally, she walked over to where Niall was, who still was being held up.

"Do I need to repeat myself?" Brenda spat. The boy dropped Niall, fear in his eyes.

"Ha, no hard feelings Niall" the boys nervously laughed. Brenda approached the dirty blonde boy, she gripped his jaw tightly, and looked him in the eyes.

"If I ever see, or hear, that your messing with MY Niall, I'll cut off your dick and shove it so far up your ass that you'll never be able to walk again. Am I understood." All three boys nodded, Brenda roughly pushed away the boy. "Get out of my sight"

The boys quickly got to their feet and ran away, Niall looked at Brenda in shock, she turned her attention to Niall, her angry scowl softened, and she smiled sweetly at Niall.

"Are you okay?" She asked, the mother in her was obviously showing.

"I'm okay, thanks for saving me"

"No problem, I heard noises while I was heading into the house, just so happens to be you. I'm sorry about this. If I was in school with you, I'd protect you whenever Liam is sick!" Brenda laughed while she picked up her bags.
