The North Mountain. A peaceful place that many ice Pokémon called their home.

This was not the case two years ago. Before, it was just like any other place that just went with the weather. It would be very warm during the summer, and it would be very cold during the winter.

However, that all changed when Queen Elsa came. When everyone in Arendelle found out about her power, she ran away to this place and made it her home. It had become her own Winter Wonderland where she can just…I dunno…let it go.

During this time, a lot of ice Pokémon who were once lost had finally found a home. They once had no home in any of the neighboring places because they couldn’t find comfort in other non-icy areas.

Elsa had noticed this. Even after she came back to Arendelle, she made sure that the ice Pokémon were still happy. She decided to give this place its own ice flurry, similar to what she has given to a particular jolly summer-loving snowman.

There was another problem that surrounded them, though. No one would look after these ice Pokémon. They once had a leader in Elsa, but she has a duty to fulfill in Arendelle. And no, she cannot be in two places at once. Fortunately, though, a huge ice-dragon has found refuge in this place, and Elsa knew it was much more capable of protecting the ice Pokémon. And that Pokémon’s name is Kyurem.

Since Elsa took over in Arendelle, Kyurem would look over the North Mountain and its inhabitants. It made sure that no one was harmed. If there was a problem, it would make sure it’ll get fixed. Yes, in spite of a scary appearance, it was actually a friendly and caring giant.

Because of Kyurem, everything in the North Mountain was at peace. It decided to rest for the night, knowing that the other Pokémon were safe. When Kyurem finally reached the state of a deep slumber, two people in black ninja-like suits came in. These people had the blue letter P as their insignia. They carefully placed some sort of suction cups on the sleeping giant so as not to wake it up. A man with long green hair with a peculiar cane came in, holding a mind-control device. He placed it on Kyurem and smirked. He then flipped open his cane, revealing a button. He pushed this, activating the mind-control device.

Kyurem was forcibly awoken. It shot out multiple ice beams that awoken some of the other Pokémon. The scared Pokémon ran off elsewhere, too terrified to confront what is wrong with their leader. Kyurem, though, was losing its control.

“Kyurem!” The green haired man shouted. Kyurem then halted its attacks, and focused his gaze on the man who called him. “I am Lord Ghetsis! You are now under my control and you shall obey my every command!” Kyurem nodded.

‘What do want me to do, Lord Ghetsis?’ Kyurem, who was now under Ghetisis’ full control, asked telepathically.

Ghetsis smirked once again. “Use Glaciate to freeze the entire kingdom of Arendelle, and lock up Queen Elsa and Princess Anna.” Kyurem nodded. It flew off straight to Arendelle. Ghetsis turned his smirk into evil laughter.

--

Almost immediately after reaching Arendelle, Kyurem used Glaciate to freeze the kingdom, just like what Ghetsis had ordered. And just like that, it was snowing in summer once again.

The townsfolk gasped went outside of their homes as snow began to fall down, but were forced back in when they saw the giant dragon that was causing all this.

Kyurem continued to freeze the place and when it reached the castle, it used its most powerful Glaciate attack to completely lock up the castle.

--

The guards used all their power to open the gates of the castle, but to no avail. Even their Growlithe couldn’t do much. They used as much Flamethrower as they can, but the gates remained frozen.

“Ugh…what do we do now?” One guard asked.

“I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there’s nothing we can’t do.” Another said.

“Step aside.” A female voice spoke. “I’ll handle this.” She walked towards the gates while doing her icebending.

“Queen Elsa!” The guards shouted in unison.

“If there’s anyone who can solve an ice related problem, it’s my sister Elsa!” Another female said as she came in. Elsa smiled.

“Thanks, Anna.” Elsa said. She directed her gaze on the frozen gates. She tried to use her powers to somehow pull the ice off, but nothing.

“This can’t be!” Elsa shouted. “Why can’t I do anything? What’s causing all this?”

“It’s some sort of monster that came down from the North Mountain.” A guard explained.

“Kyurem…no.” Elsa muttered. She buried on face on her hands as she cried. She couldn’t believe that something she trusted had caused all this trouble.

Anna approached her, and she put a hand on her shoulder. “It’s going to be okay, Elsa. We’ve gotten into sticky…or rather icy situations before. Besides, Kristoff and Olaf are still out there. They could help.” Anna whispered.

“I don’t know, Anna. Kyurem is very powerful. We’re going to need more than Kristoff and Olaf…and even the entire kingdom of Arendelle.” Elsa explained. “We’ll have to call reinforcements.”

“Like who?” Anna asked.

“Hmm…” Elsa muttered deep in thought. Suddenly, her face lit up and she faced the guards.

“Guards. Call King Norman of the Porin kingdom. We’re going to need their help.”

AHHH!!! Done with the prologue! I’ve had this planned for such a long time, and yet it’s just now that I’m putting this to action. This is most likely just a short story…so yeah. I don’t wanna make it too long anyway. Anyways, to die-hard Frozen fans, I’m sorry to say but this story will focus more on Pokémon…at least the main characters.

So…I hope this ends up good.
