Bonus Chapter: Life with Gary Oak

Drew grabbed a bottle of water and chugged down its contents. He has just finished his sparring session with Paul, one of the strongest warriors of the Porin Kingdom.

He came back to the warrior lounge and saw everyone was minding their business. Ash and Misty were talking. Paul was polishing his sword. Barry was fining people over the phone. Ritchie was playing with his Pikachu, Sparky. Cilan and Brock were cooking. Bianca, Georgia and Stephan were playing a board game. Serena and Dawn were reading a fashion magazine. Trip was taking some photos. Tracey was sketching Pokémon.

Wait...where's Gary?

"Hey there, Mr. Loverboy!" Gary said as he approached Drew from behind.

It's not just Gary who has been calling Drew Mr. Loverboy. Everyone has.

"Hello, Gary." Drew greeted a bored tone as they took a seat on an empty couch.

"So...got any plans for tonight? Do you have a date with the princess? Do you need any helpful advice? I'm a love expert, you know." Gary asked.

"I am planning on having a picnic with May later today. And no, I don't need your advice." Drew answered.

"Picnics? You guys just had a picnic like a week ago!" Gary said.

"So? May loves having picnics especially if you give her ramen...and how did you know we had a picnic last week?!" Drew said.

"Tch. I thought you had something more up your sleeve, Hayden. Have you ever tried pickup lines on her?" Gary asked.

"No. I don't need pickup lines." Drew said as he stood up, flicked his hair and pushed Gary out of the way. "If you excuse me, I need to prepare for our picnic."

Drew is now waiting in front of the big tree in the Porin Kingdom garden. He has everything prepared. The mat, the packs of ramen, the bowls and a thermos.

'Wait a sec.' Drew thought as he brought out Roserade. Roserade used her petals to create a beautiful red rose.

"Thanks, Roserade." Drew said as he returned Roserade and took hold of the rose.

Suddenly, someone crept up to him and covered his eyes.

"Guess who."

Drew smiled. Of course he knows who it is.

"Hello there, May." Drew greeted as May uncovered his eyes. He then gave her the rose.

"Hi, Drewbean. Ooh! We're having ramen!" May said excitedly.

Drew prepared the bowls of ramen as May looked on. While waiting for the noodles to be cooked, May decided to have a little conversation.

"So...I heard you had a sparring session with Paul. He's tough, you know." May said.

"Yeah...he was tough, alright. How about you? How's the princess life?" Drew asked.

"Kinda boring, actually. Sometimes I wish that I could train with the warriors instead." May replied.

"You just want to spend more time with me, don't you?" Drew said flirtatiously as he tapped May's nose.

"Watch it, Drewbean." May said. "I can borrow Misty's mallet, you know."

"Yeah, but you love me anyway." Drew said.

"Whatever." May said as she quickly kissed his cheek. "By the way, the ramen's done."

The two enjoyed their ramen, but little did they know that they were being watched.

"Man...Drewbean?! That's a cute nickname." The spy said as he laughed.
