After all this time, you and Dabi finally got to go on a mission. It was small but still. Now, for the purpose of the mission, the two of you had to split up. You had a bad feeling about it but you brushed it off as paranoia.
Unfortunately, now was one of those times that you probably should have listened to your gut.
You hadn't even seen the attack coming until you were cornered and it was too late. But, you didn't even get the chance to really see your attacker before a familiar blue flame engulfed them. It held more intensity than normal though. Looking in the direction of where the flames had come from, you saw Dabi and, for once, his usual stoic expression absent.
Dabi looked ready to kill someone, much like an older brother being overprotective. After a moment or so, his stoic expression appeared once again and he helped you to your feet.
