I woke up that morning with an ache in my shoulders that, no matter how much Ava or Daniel (my elder siblings) unwillingly gave me neck massages, it wouldnt leave. It was an achey pain, like when you stub your toe and you know itll only get worse and worse, before it gets better.

Dragging myself to school, I cursed at how it was only Tuesday and not even half way through the week yet. Entering the locker room I noticed that Indi wasnt there yet, and decided to wait for her, as we usually would. Sitting, knees bent on the floor, I started listening to Arctic Monkeys, nodding at the occasional person who wasnt a complete and utter bitch.

After a while I realised I had played Arctic Monkeys entire album, and glanced at the time to see I was already 10 minutes late to tutor. Slowly I stood up, the ache in my shoulders becoming more pronounced with each cm I stood up, and stretched out.

I made my way to tutor wondering where Indi was as she usually would have texted me by now if something would have happened. Realising I had already missed tutor, I made my way to english, yet when I opened the door, it wasnt bumbling old Mr Banks, no. Two gorgeous men stood up front, talking with American accents to the class.

Instantly I forgot all my excuses and stood there gaping at these two insanely perfect specimin of the male speicies.

One looked way over 6 foot, with a mop of brown hair sitting on his head, he had a more open and relaxed face, and reminded me strangely of a puppy. The other was slightly shorter, but in comparison to my miniscule 5"2 was still amazing tall, and he had short dirty blonde hair and sea green eyes.

The shorter was staring at me intensely like i had personally offended him, while his colleague(?) gave me a more understanding look.

All thoughts of Indi disappeared from my mind, and I stuttered sorry, ripping my eyes away from those majestic jems others called eyes and took a seat at the back of the class where Indi and I would usually sit.

Being snapped back to reality by Mr Banks (I didnt realise he was in here), he was talking about how these "fine young lads" are here to talk to us all individually, and that they were from "the very respectable police force".

As soon as they said they would be talking to us individually, I knew it would be done alphabetically, and I, with the last name Zakharov, would be last. So, knowing this, could you imagine my surprise when the taller of the two spoke up.

"Actually I was wondering if we could start with you, as you did come in late, Miss... er..."

He looked at me expectantly, and it took me a few seconds before I prrocessed what he said.

Standing up, my chair fell over, as i cried "Zakharov! But um... Im Alexi... um I mean Lexi" I continued and turned around to hide my burning cheeks and to pick up my now broken looking chair.

After several snickers and whispered "oh my god"'s around the class, I gave up in my a attempts to detangle the chair and table, choosing to hop out of my mess.

The blonde guy raised a disbelieving eyebrow, while the other simply said

"Shall we?", motioning out of the door.

Shuffling out of the door in front of them, my shoulders suddenly decided to let the pain rip.

I amost groaned to myself in pain as we walked into a spare english room, trying to ignore the feeling of someone dragging their finger nails down my back.

I sat on a chair, hoping it would ease the pain yet it only made it even worse.

"We know what you are."

Those was the first words I had heard green eyes say, and I was thoroughly confused. Well, confused and flustered, because, hot DAMN! His voice is so fucking deep, and husky and holy crap I think I just wet myself.

Suddenly green eyes (thats his name now) slammed me against the wall, and a spasm of pain shot over my shoulder blades, and I bit my lip so as not to full on scream.

"We know, so just tell us where it is!"

He shout-whispered now, his forearm pinning my shoulders to the wall as he shoved me further up the wall. And I screamed. I tried not to, I really did. But now I could feel blood running down my chin from me biting through my lip. My back felt as if someone had ripped two gashes down my back, slicing my insides open.

I couldnt even think about how green eyes was pressed up against me, or about where the hell Indi was. All I could think about was the white hot pain of my back, and I screamed.

I dont know how long i screamed for, but I must have blacked out, because when I woke up I didnt recognise where I was.

The first thing I felt was the irreplaceable pain on my back. Groaning in pain I moved to roll over, only to have arms stop me and gently but firmly place me back in my original spot.

Glancing up I saw the puppy guy looking carefully down at me, like I might break any second.

"You need to rest." He said.

"You cant tell me what to do." I answered back with. Or tried to at least, but my throat was raw and all that came out was a scratched noise.

Without heaitation he passed me a glass of water, which I grasped desperately. In the next door room I could recognise green eyes voice talking to someone.

Puppy cleared his throat and i drew my attention away from other room.

"Im Jamie," he started " and we arent policemen." He quickly added as he mustve seen my fave morph into confusion and he said his name, because I swear Mr Banks had called him Philip Anderson, and green eyes something Lestrade. Suddenly I understood the reference to sherlock and as I tried to explain my understanding, I was quickly reminded about why I was holding a glass of water like it was a lifeline.

Puppy- I mean Jamie, was just about to say something, when green eyes walked in. His eyebrows were drawn together, hiding part of his emerald eyes, and you could feel the tension rolling off of him, which meant he had either just been in an argument, or he really really hated me.

I think it was mixture of both, as his glare spun to me when I opened my mouth.

Innocently I took a gull of my drink, and waited for him to glare back at Jamie. He didnt.

"What was that." He demanded, stalking closer to my tiny self. "What was that scream."

"Um... I dont know?" I tried to reply, and to my surprise, although my voice wasnt completely back to normal, you could understand me.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Jamie give me a thoroughly confused look.

Clearing my throat I tried again.

"I dont know what that was." I began, feeling my voice mend itself with each syllable. "All I know, is that today I got slammed against a wall for all the wrong reasons," I continued, my voice growing stronger as I started using what Indi called my "sass" voice,"I mean if ya wanna shove me against a wall and your into that kinda thing, then good for you! But I dont appreciate having to scream in pain, and then pass out from it, before someone stops man handling me." I took deep breath, preparing myself to contiue my rant when green eyes interrupts me.

"I dont care what the hell you want. Your a monster, and dont think we wont figure out what you are because we will. And when we do, well kill you. So now, I'll just lock this, comon Jamie," it was then I realised I was in a panic room of sorts, and Iwatched as Jamie walked to join green eyes in the doorway. "And once I've locked this door, your not leaving until i say so."

And with that he slammed the door.
