Days.

It had been days since Lexi had run out and Caleb was a mess.

Caleb hated research, unless it was of the 'female anatomy ' as he liked to put it. So considering how much Caleb, my brother, hates research you can understand why I was just a little worried at how he hadn't slept yet due to his amount of research . He hadn't slept in over a week as he was searching for her.

I had given up after a few days, however it seemed Caleb could not, or would not.

Now I was just searching so Caleb wouldnt break on me, whatever this Lexi was, had obviously made some connection with my brother.

Despite how much I knew he hated it, I couldnt help but give him curious looks, something I knew he noticed. I could already see that if something didn't happen soon, Caleb would... well... I don't know what he would do, but I knew it wouldn't be good.

As I thought this I was laying on a half broken matress in one of the cheap hostels Caleb had insisted were like our american motels, a fact I am sure he wouldnt even now remember; his mind filled with thoughts of Lexi, and Lexi alone.

Looking over at the table, my brother was scribbling away on a piece of paper, his eyes glued to the computer screen. Knowing no matter what I did, even if I dragged him into bed, he wouldnt sleep, just carry the laptop and paper with him.

Giving up, I turned to switch off the light, when a flutter sound emerged from the foot of my bed, and I swivelled to see a man in a trenchcoat standing there.

After placing Lexi in her room, I returned to Lucifer.

"I trust you told her nothing?" Were his first words to me.

"Nothing of importance sir." I replied with my head bent.

"Good, now alert the brothers of her location. I have a feeling they'll be wanting her back..." he trailed off with anominous smile.

Lexi.

I had to find her. I had one single thought.

Find Lexi.

I had been looking for signs for what felt like years now. Just thinking about where she could be sent shivers down my spine.

She could be kidnapped, totured, killed... anything was possible seeing as she had just dropped of the radar.

It was impossible to hide from us, from the renound hunters. Famous among the supernatural as being brothers with a taste for supernatural hunts, yet I couldn't find the only thing I wanted.

Having not slept since she disappeared, I could feel my body draining, however I couldn't sleep, nor eat for that matter, while knowing that somewhere Lexi may not have that privilege.

Many times I had tried to justify my need for her, but I am yet to find one that seems in any way possible, so I had just resorted to forgetting about the why and how, and started thinking about the who. About Lexi.

I know Jamie had long since given up on finding her, yet although I knew he had chosen the most logical solution, I couldnt bring myself to move on with out her.

I only knew her for a few hours so you could say I hardly knew her at all, however I felt like I had known her my entire life, despite the fact that I had spent most of the time shouting at her or watching her from a distance, trying to contain my self control.

Surprised, I was pulled out of my daydreaming and was awakened by wings, and a man standing in our tiny hostel.

Instantly Jamie and I lept to our feet, used to the supernatural gatecrashing our 'research parties'. Pulling out our guns the man chuckled, it was a throaty sound yet it seemed unusual on him, like he didnt laugh often.

"Boys, boys, put away your guns. They do nothing against me except make me very angry." Hesitantly I looked over at Jamue to see him tilt his head in acceptance, together we lowered our pistols.

"Thats better," the dark haired man continued, "now back on track. I've heard that you were looking for someone."

"So what if we were." I jumped in, uncomfortable with his patronising voice.

However, I quickly regretted it as he seemed to grow in the room, trying not to cower away, I stood up from behind Jamies laptop.

"I am Mihael. Angel of loyalty, and you shall not interrupt me." His voice boomed throughout the manky room. Hardly breaking pace, his tone returned to innoccent patronising as he continued. "I have been sent to tell you where the girl you seek lies."

I stared at him in hope, eyes glistening with the possibility of seeing Lexi again, and soon.

I was so happy, I didnt realise that this was at all suspicious, damn Lexi was really making me loose my touch. Well I wasnt suspicious until Jamie commented on the situation, "So you know where Lexi is? And youre telling us becauae...?"

"Becauae she needs help, help that only you, Caleb, can provide."

Mihaels pov (again sorry)

As soon as I landed I knew who he was. The elder brother (Caleb was it?) was important. Was very important.

I couldnt help myself chuckling slightly to myself. After all those questions I had asked, I now saw hope was not lost, just merely hiding beneath Lucifers lies.

He said she had no mate.

He said she was alone.

He was wrong.

For here, standing in front of me, was him. Her mate.

I felt excitement build inside me at the prospect of bringing them together, something Lucifer, or Lucy as Lexi called him, forbade.

However despite my excitement I had a deal with Lucy, a deal that would result in me dead if I'd dare disobey.

Once I started talking I realized how annoying that Caleb boy was. No manners. And even those with no manners, you would have thought they would at least respect and angel!

After telling Caleb he was the only one who could help Lexi, I saw his face transform.

Instead of the hidden worry on his face, he now openly showed hope, and I could feel my grace glowing inside me.

I felt joy within me for the first time in a long time, hope that something good could come out of this.
