Normal Day for the Pigeon's Student

 Aru woke up to a Monday morning. "Wake up Aru you've got training today. We're meeting Mini after you're done with school." said Boo her training instructor.  You see, Boo was a pigeon who helped Aru and Mini train to become legendary warriors to defeat the sleeper, more or less.  

"Okay Boo. I'm getting up." said Aru. She got up and got ready and put on a T-shirt and jeans and went down stairs to meet her mom. She was making calls and as she saw Aru she smiled. Aru went to the kitchen were she saw her mom had made some traditional Indian breakfast for Boo. You'd think that a pigeon would want to eat some birdseed but noo he needed a nice delicious breakfast. While the human ate the cereal the pigeon ate dosa with chutney. "I don't understand how you humans eat this so called cereal." Boo said. "It's alright Boo. You're a bird and you're supposed to eat this stuff." He pecked her and said "don't you ever say that again young lady." She mumbled an apology. Boo was sensitive about being called a pigeon. Aru put the dishes in the sink and said goodbye to her mom and beloved pigeon tutor. She headed out the museum. 

Yes, she lived in a museum have I forgot to mention that. Sincere apologies from the author for not telling you the address of our main character. Did I also mention she lives in Georgia. Sorry again folks. As I said Aru headed out her abode  and headed to school.  She saw Arielle, Poppy and Burton in the entrance of the building. They were, um,  friends , it was a long story involving a demon and a trip to the Kingdom of Death and some animal friends. "Hi Aru", said Arielle and gave one of her award winning smiles which always helped her in sticky situations. Burton and Poppy joined her and said hi. Aru said hello back to them and walked to class. Yes, today was a normal day in the life of Aru Shah.
