Location: North America Midnight Solstice Arena
Time: 6:30 pmA man sat at a desk wearing a suit. On the desk were a neat stack of papers and a miniature Midnight Solstice Winner's Cup. Behind him were banners of each NASC teams and a screen that just showed the Midnight Solstice logo.
"Hello everyone and welcome to this year's first Caster's Report," the man started. "I'm Jackley and this is the show where I'll be breaking down the day's craziest events, replaying caster's reactions, and talking to special guests.
"Per usual the NASC - the North American Solstice Cup, for those new fans watching today - started out with our opening ceremony where we announce the lineups for each of our fourteen teams. There were new and old faces all around but one team's lineup shook this stadium. Check out Cosmos and Panda from earlier today as they react live."
The video changed to reveal two esports caster's standing over a table.
"For everyone just joining us, we heard there was a small hold up backstage that delayed Rogue Shadow's entrance but they'll be coming out shorty," the caster on the left said. The graphic on the screen labeled him as 'Cosmos.'
"Before they come on stage, I want to talk real fast about Shadows. All these players are rookies, we've never seen them play before. And some of them are doing some pretty extreme things in their game histories," the second caster said. He was labeled as 'Panda.'
"I'm really excited for them, Panda. You know me, I'm always all for the underdogs. And with Rogue Shadows facing our reigning Cup winners today, Blue Pegasus, they certainly don't have the advantage."
"Well you won't have to wait much longer, Cosmos, because I'm being told that Rogue Shadows are heading out onto the stage."
The screen graphic changed displaying the dark stage. In the corner of the screen was a box with Cosmos and Panda inside.
"And the first one walking on the stage is Rogue Shadow's coach, Rumor. You all might recognize his name as he has a lengthy resume. But the highlights include Guardian for Rising Phoenix and assistant coach for Blue Pegasus," Panda led off introducing the Rogue Shadows team.
"Next up we've got Serpent who's a Scout for the team. He's from China and was playing very well in an unofficial league out there. Shadows are lucky they were able to snatch him up."
"Now here comes Matrix, he was reportedly joining a team in the European region however, that contract appears to have fallen through as here he is as a Scout for Rogue Shadows."
"You're not seeing deja vu, the next player for Shadows is Viper who's Serpent's twin brother. He's role is Runner. It seems as if they two of them came as a packaged deal from China."
"And next is the team's youngest player, Suka. He's only 16 which actually makes him one of the youngest in the NASC. When we were talking about extreme picks earlier this is who we were talking about. He's the team's Warden."
