The small family were going home today. They decided to drive because it was less expensive and easier than a plane. "You almost ready bub?" Jonah askes sitting beside zach. "Ive been ready" zach says turning his phone off. "Oh alright then" jonah says wrapping his arm around zachs shoulders. "You ready to go back to school?" Jonah asks looking in zachs chocolate brown eyes. "Hell fucking no" zach blirts out before he could even think. Zach looked down at his hands ashamed of what he just said infront of the man he was trying to impress. "Hey now no need for words like that" jonah says rubbing zachs back. "So-sorry" zach said looking up at the man. "Its fine" Jonah says kissing his temple. "What happened?" Daniel asked walking into the room. Zach nudged Jonah with pleading eyes. "Nothing dani" Jonah said giving zach a small smile. "Alright then ready to go?" Daniel asked and both nodded. Zach sat in the backseat of jonahs car Jonah and daniel agreed to switch when they were diving so the other could rest whilsts the other drives. "I can drive" zach smirked from the backseat "never" Jonah says letting out a small laugh from the front seat. "What? Why? Give me one good reason" zach says and jonah lools at him in the rear view mirror. "Well actually theres more than one reason 1. Your a baby and will always be 2. You dont have a driver's license or permit. 3. I dont want to be in a car crash and more" Jonah says pulling out of the parking lot. Daniel let out a small chuckle zach gave Jonah a look. "I am not a baby" zach mumbled looking out the window. "My baby" Jonah says keeping his eyes on the road. Daniel turned the radio on and it was starting to get dark out. "Want me to drive?" Daniel asked look at Jonah but Jonah shook his head no. "He wants me to drive" zach jokes making Jonah do a dramatic fake laugh. "As if" Jonah says. Zach smiled he loved Jonah he was fun and actually spent time with him. A song zach liked come onto the radio so daniel turned it up for him. The song was called middle child "dont say those words!" Daniel says turning the song back down after he heard the first few sentences. "Why?" Zach asked "because I said not to" daniel says raising an eyebrow and looking in the backseat. Zach rolled his eyes and looked out his window. Daniel sighed and turned back around in his seat. Jonah stopped to get gas and also because he was getting tired and daniel kept pestering him to drive. Whilst the gas tank was filling up Jonah tapped on zachs car window. Zach smiled when he looked up. Soon the gas was finished and Jonah got back in the car. Jonah looked in the back seat as daniel started to drive. "Zach why are you so adorable?" Jonah asks after a few seconds of watching the boy. Zach looked at Jonah "I'm not" he says looking into jonahs green blue eyes. "What thays the biggest lie ive ever heard and trust me I spend most of my time with your father" Jonah says as a joke Daniel elbowing him. "Yes I'm aware he lies..alot" Zach says pulling his phone from his pocket so he wouldnt have to be in this conversation anymore.
Jonah sighed and looked at daniel who frowned when he heard that jonah rubbed daniels knee for comfort. About half an hour later zach fell asleep resting his head on his arms and his knees drawn up to his chest. Jonah smiled at the boy "Dani I'm sorry I brought that up" Jonah says sadly "dont be its not your fault..i just wish I couldve been a better dad" da url says with tears in his eyes but he quickly blinked them away. "hey! Your a great father I mean use me as an example" Jonah starts but daniel cut him off. "No Jonah you dont understand your the good guy if I wasnt so selfish none of this wouldve happened he loves you but he doesnt wanna be around me barley anymore" daniel says letting a tear slip. "Dont cry love your an amazing dad and I'm going to make zach belive that you are once again i promise" Jonah says grabbing daniels hand. Daniel gave him a small smile "I hope so i love you both more than life it's self."
