"I know this isnt the right way to do this and not the right time either but daniel will you marry me? Again?"

Daniel smiled "yes Jonah a billion times yes!" Daniel exclaimed grabbing jonahs hand and giving it a tight squeeze. Both smiled zach smiled in his sleep like state the only thing he could really understand was his dads were getting married that they could start over with a new baby and he could leave but truth was now with only three days left until his planned death date he was scared and nervous he knew how he was going to die.

Zach thought it was just a dream that his dads were getting married but it wasn't and they couldnt be happier.

The next moring when zach woke up jonah was brushing his fingers through his hair humming lightly to him.

"Morning precious" Jonah smiled sadly adjusting zach in his grip zach whinned slightly pulling the blankets over his head once the light from the sun rising peaked through the windows. Jonah chuckled pulling the blankets back down once again zach pulled them over his head but yet again Jonah pulled them down it was basically a game at this point "daddy stop" zach whinned n he was still very tired it was 6am he didnt even know why he was awake but he was.

Jonah smiled letting zach pull the blankets over himself he liked when zach called him that.

"Daddy?" Zach asked from under the covers as if he knew how much Jonah enjoyed it. "Yes baby?" Jonah asked slowly pealing the blankets away from zachs face. "Will you sing to me?" He asked nuzzling his face into jonahs bare chest. "Sorry baby I cant sing" Jonah said putting his hand on the back of zachs head "lies" zach said closing his eyes hearing Jonah sigh in defeat "what do you want me to sing?" Jonaj asked a bit nervous he hasnt sang in so long especially to zach that was long overdue. "I dont care" zach smiled finally getting his way after poking and prodding after a few seconds Jonah decided on a song feeling it fit perfectly with last night

Jonah picked this song for zach everytime it was suppose to say she he changed it to he letting him know last night didnt define him as a person In jonahs eyes thst the night changes and all together the song reminded him of zach and it was just a good song.
But it actaully reminded Jonah so much of when he left everything he ever dreamed of disappeared when he woke up remembering that it wasnt a dream that he called his little boy a mistake and taught him to swear and the way he acted towards daniel his love.
But it also kinda was like last night withna short message of zach can take back making those marks and Jonah didnt like them but he couldnt change that that Jonah would always love him no matter what he always has and always will.

Zach tightened his grip around Jonah "I love you so much" he said quietly hiding his face "I love you so much more but i want you to promise me something" Jonah says sitting them both up turning the conversation serious.

"What is it?" Zach asked quietly laying against jonahs chest "promise me that your never going to hurt yourself on purpose again or try to hurt yourself ever again" Jonah said placing his index finger under zach chin and making it so they were looking at each other zach thought for a minute he looked down and lightly shook his head no jonahs face dropped.

"What do you mean? No you cant hurt yourself it hurts me when your hurt yourself I-if your not going to stop for yourself stop for me..please" Jonah said blinking the blurryness tears in his eyes created.

"I-i can't though i-i promised that I wouldn't stop" zach said trying to crawl off of jonahs lap but Jonah held him in place "no sit right here and talk with me you bottle everything up and this is the kind of thing that happens!" Jonah exclaimed he was so scared of zach being like him he didnt want his baby to hurt himself he didnt want zach to end up like him.

Zach kept quiet he couldnt find the right words and neither could Jonah both just sat in silence both jumped slightly when daniel opened the door then closed it.

Daniel lay down in the bed beside them a small sad smile on his lips. "Come here" he whispered and pulled zach into his arms "dont ever do that kind of shit ever again" he said holding zach close to him

The whole day zach just layed around and watched Netflix in his room not caring to move he just layed there the side of his face against the pillow he watched as daniel went through everything and took everything sharp as Jonah held him whispering sweet things into his ear to keep him from crying it worked zach didnt utter a word nit because he was angry with them or upset but because he couldnt find the energy he only had a burning sensation in his gut telling him to go play the piano in the basement but he didnt know why that thing had been down there for years collecting dust he just felt the need to like it was calling out for him to play it
