*** Five years later ***

Ethan's P.O.V

I was glad to be home, it had been a busy day at work and this weekend Amelia and I were celebrating for two reasons. First reason was it was our four year wedding anniversary, can't believe we have been married for four years, we had a small ceremony with close friends and family, it was what we both wanted and yet every day I find myself falling in love with her all over again. The second reason was my birthday, it was not a big birthday, I was only gonna be twenty-three but Amelia always made a fuss when it was my birthday and I was the same with her. We had our family's coming on Sunday and we were all gonna go out for dinner to celebrate, but tonight and tomorrow it was only Amelia and I since we don't get to spent as much together as we would like due to work. The two of us were done with College too which gave us a little more time with each other than last year since the two of us were both at College and working. We moved in here just last year, Paris and Matt just a few doors down from us, they moved in a couple of years ago after they got married too, it was them that told us about this apartment.

As soon as I walked in the front door and into the living room Amelia jumped up from the sofa, coming straight to me to say hello with a kiss and a cuddle, the same way she always does, it made my day, she done it without fail if she was home before me.

"Hey my love I missed you." I said hugging her close to my chest

I always missed her when I was at work.

"I missed you too. Happy birthday baby." She smiled widely at me

It was my birthday today but we never managed to see each other this morning since I was away early.

"Thank You." I smiled

"Come, come I have a surprise for you, that I need to give you right now." She said excited

"Can I at least get a shower first?" I laughed

"No, you can't. This can't wait." She said eagerly

I looked at her, cocking my brow. I told her not to make a fuss, I should have known she would have. I could smell dinner cooking too. She grabbed my arm, dragging me over to the sofa, pushing me down on it.

"Wait right there OK? I will be back in a moment." She said

She was overly excited, telling me she was up to something. I sat there and soon enough she was rushing back through to me. She was overly happy too, more than usual. Amelia was always happy but this was something else.

"Baby will you please calm down?" I laughed

"I can't help it, you will understand once you open this." She said clapping her hands

I took the card from her, opening. Amelia stood, patiently waiting for me to open it. I decided to open it slowly to annoy her. Amelia crossed her arms over her chest, tapping her foot, he way of telling me to get on with it. I chuckled, opening it. I took the card out of the envelope and turned it around. My eyes went wide and my mouth fell open when I see the card

"You mean?" I said biting my tongue in case I was getting ahead of myself

"Yes I mean what you think." She said smiling widely at me

The birthday card was personalized and it read on front

Happy birthday Daddy, Can't wait to meet you Love your little one

There was an ultrasound photo on the front of it, below it in big letters it read Ten weeks

I was an emotional mess and when I opened it I felt even more emotional cause it read

I love you daddy

Amelia and I had been trying for a baby for about a year with no luck, it was something we both wanted but we were started to get worried and now here we are. I can't believe this, she was finally pregnant. I took my eyes off the card, looking up at her and Amelia was as emotional as me. I grabbed her, pulling her onto my lap

"I can't believe this you are finally pregnant. We are gonna have a baby." I said kissing her over and over again

"I have known for a couple of weeks, not telling you was getting to me but I wanted to make it special for you and this seemed like the perfect way. You aint mad at me for not telling you sooner are you?" she said

"Of course not my love I am not bad. The way you told me was amazing...you are amazing. A baby Amelia, we are gonna have a baby. I can't wait...I am so excited." I said

"Happy birthday my love from me and the little one." Amelia said smiling at me

"The best birthday ever." I said placing my hand on her stomach "I am gonna be a daddy." I added smiling like a fool

Amelia wrapped her arms around my neck

"Yes...yes you are. We are finally getting our baby Ethan, things couldn't get any more perfect." She gushed at me "I love you Ethan and I can't wait for us to raise our baby together." She added

"I love you too. No things could not be any more perfect sweetheart. I can't wait to meet him or her." I said rubbing her stomach

I couldn't wait for us to become a proper little family, just the three of us, well for now, we will see how many more come in the future. I really was a lucky man.
