Quinn's POV Part 2
I end up walking a little slower to try and get Keyla to catch up to me. I hear a familiar voice talking with her. I look back and I see my best friend, Tristen. They seem to be laughing and smiling, but I really wanted to talk to her, and right now was my chance to see if I feel anything for her. I ask them," Hey, Tristen can I talk to Keyla for a moment please?" I try and give him a hint of some sort that this is important. He leaves quite quickly, but I can see the reluctancy in him. When I look at Keyla she started to blush. I had caught her gaze, and she didn't even look away. She starts saying quizzically," Hey Quinn, what's up? What did you need to talk to me about?" I just look at her and kiss her cheek. I could see her body tense. I smirk a little and say," Did you feel anything when I kissed you?" She has a slight honey glow to her cheeks, but she seemed a little disgusted.
She says a little loud," Even if I did feel anything we can't date. We fit different two different categories! We don't belong together! Even when I tried to talk to you or get your attention in History you just ignored me, why!" I say without thinking," I do want to date you though. I wasn't talking to you because we are part of two different Worlds." I realize what I said, but she ended up saying," I don't even understand you. You told me that you want me to date you, but you ignore me because of our different Worlds. Then how would you want to date me if I'm a nerd. Im just done with you!" She runs into the school with Tristen, and he looks a smidge concerned. They walk into the school together.
