Emma

When I get home I look over my syllabus on my MacBook. I have a calculus test tomorrow. My paper for Macbeth is due Wednesday. I've already turned that one in. I have a test on the 1930s in Economics on Wednesday. That ones going to be interesting.

I pull up my calendar. Monday and Wednesday I'm tutoring Caleb after school. I'm tutoring Kevin and Trent, the two eighth grade boys, on Tuesday after school in Algebra. I'm also babysitting Mrs. Hollis's two three-year-old girl twins from six to ten. They are so adorable. I can't wait.

I pull up my Reminder's app to see what papers I need to write. I still have four more papers to write in AP Literature. I've already finished Tess of the D'Urbervilles. I just need to write the paper. I'll do that tomorrow after I tutor Caleb. I've got time it's not due until after the Christmas break. I have in here to write Tiffany's scholarship paper. I'll need to meet with her to interview her.

I pick up my phone and type in the number she gave me in the Messenger app.

Emma: When do you want to meet about the scholarship paper?

Tiffany: Tuesday? I've got violin practice until 4 can we meet after that?

Emma: Sure, where?

Tiffany: My place?

Emma: k text me your address

I get a ding and she has messaged me her contact file. I see her birthday is next week.

I put this info in my calendar.

I pull up Facebook and scroll through the wall. I see Caleb has commented on an article about Saturday's UGA football game. I click on it to see what he said. It has three likes. I also see other people have commented on what Caleb said. Jake wrote right on man. Below that Amber wrote oh come on it wasn't that bad. Stop crying. Below that Henry comments I couldn't believe it myself. I stare at the words and read them over and over before I mouse over his picture. I hold my breath and click on it. Henry's page pulls up instantly.

I stand up and close my door quietly and lock it. I go back to my computer. I click on his profile picture to enlarge it. He is at an UGA football game. He's wearing a red UGA T-shirt and he's smiling with the football field behind him. It looks like he's very close to the field. There are 12 likes and a few comments. I see the picture was uploaded last year. I close the picture. His cover photo is of the Foster football stadium. It looks like it's freshly painted before a game. The bright red and yellow F is in the middle of the field.

I click on the About tab. It says he's a coach at Foster High School since August 2016. Below that it says he has a BESd in Athletic Training from UGA. Below that it says he lives in Georgia, but no city is mentioned. Below that it says No Relationship to Show.

I close this tab and open his friends tab it shows which friends we have in common. The only one is Caleb.

I close that one and go to the pictures tab. It only lets me look at his profile pictures. There are four. There is the one that he's using now.

There is one where it looks like he just finished a race. He's holding a medal in the air and he has a huge grin on his face. There are 24 likes and 3 comments. I see the picture was taken in Tennessee in March 2014.

I close that one and click on the next one. It's a picture of himself with his sister and his parents on a beach with the ocean behind them. He is very tan. He has a beer in one hand and his other arm is around his sister. He is wearing a pair of dark shades and a white sleeveless shirt and a pair of yellow swim trunks. She is holding a pink drink with an umbrella in it. She is wearing a turquoise bikini top and a white shawl wrapped around her waist. His mother has blond hair that is covered with a large straw hat. She is wearing a long sleeveless light blue summer dress. His father's hair is white and black and is sticking up all over the place. He is a heavy man with a thin white button down shirt and a pair of khaki pants on.
