Henry

I place the fishing pole in the round holder mounted to the boat. I take my sunglasses off so I can get my shirt off. It's smoldering even with the clouds hanging around. With my eyes still on my line I grab a water out of the cooler and twist it open. I sigh and look up. The rain will be here soon. I lazily drink and watch my line. Once the water is gone I toss the bottle in the boat and reel my line back in. No fish today. A light sprinkle has started to fall. I pick up the oar and row back to the dock. Once I'm at the dock I get out and grab my cooler and shirt and climb out. I lay them down so I can tie the boat back up. The rain has really picked up and I'm getting drinched. I start to jog towards the line of pine trees when I see someone emerging out of them. I drop everything and take off in a neck-breaking run. She's running at me and we collide. I wrap my arms around her and kiss her hard. I pick her up and twirl her around. She giggles.

"I thought you weren't coming in until tomorrow," I say inches from her face.

"I got an earlier flight. Well, technically your dad had a client flying in and I hitched a ride. Your parents are so awesome," she explains blinking as the raindrops fall on her eyelashes.

I roll my eyes. My dad showing off again.

I step back and look at her. She's wearing a loose cropped sleeveless blouse and a tight cotton skirt. She's also wearing the gold anklet I gave her for her birthday. "You look beautiful as always."

She grins, "You shaved your head." She rubs her hand over it.

"Yeah, it's cooler."

"I like it."

She looks back into my eyes and kisses me. "Come on we're getting drenched."

The rain starts coming down heavier. I hold tight to her hand as we take off running towards the house. Once we make it to the house we are both soaked to the bone. We head to the stairs and up to my room.

Emma

"Baby?"

"Huh?" I answer lazily. I'm laying naked on his bed with my head at the foot of the bed analyzing  Henry's feet.

"Baby," Henry says again running his finger slowly down my bare back, "I know you've only been home for a couple of hours, but I want to ask you something."

"Yeah?" I look over my shoulder at him. He looks troubled.

"Baby, will you move in with me?" he asks hopefully.

"Okay," I grin in relief.

"Really?" he asks surprised.

"Yeah, I got a full scholarship at your mom's university. I start in January."

He slaps me on the bottom. "Why didn't you say anything?"

"Because when I got home we got busy."

"I'm sorry, four months was a long time."

I roll over on my back and look up at him. "I know. Thank you for waiting."

He leans down and kisses me. "I never want to be parted from you again."

I smile, "I hope we never are."

"How long have you known about the school?"

"I only got accepted last week. I wanted to tell you in person not over the phone. Your mom took care of everything. I just have to show up at orientation after the holidays."

"I want you to stay like this the whole holidays. Naked and ready in my bed."

I giggle, "We can't we're having lunch with my family tomorrow after church."

He cups my breast and rubs his thumb over my nipple. "That gives me nineteen hours. I don't know if that's enough time to do everything I want to do to you."

I smile and reach up to touch the side of his face. "You better get started then."
